Dammit. I have a couple buddies that are cops, one of them was on a gang unit targeting Asian gangs in so cal. He wouldn't talk about things that happened, but I heard other people talk about it. I know I couldn't do it. Good to see people come to help.
A water bottle. Cop has bike rider on the ground. dodge neon (i believe) comes up throws a water bottle at the officer and stops passenger gets out and puts officer in a head lock, now it is 2 on 1. the neon takes off, but stops when others arrive then reverses almost to the squad car and just sits there like he is waiting for his buddy to jump back in. Then when the officer and good guys get the upper hand and handcuffs start coming out the neon takes off.
When I hear "Asian Gangs" I can't help but think of some form of rough chess and piano being played...
I actually like the video. Folks still have balls and ethics. Your average waste of oxygen would have just filmed it on their phones if they weren't already en route to the mall for their circle jerkgymboree.
Glad the officer back to normal.

Couldn't be a cop for that reason and for buddy fuckers. The ones that harass citizens and give bad names to the good ones. I thought all cops were pigs until I moved to WA. Thanks AL, thanks for keeping the standard so low the rest of us have something to be appreciative for. I honestly would have kept driving in AL. Here in WA, I doubt I would have engaged hand to hand with those assholes but it's because I wouldn't have to, and god fucking help them if my wife is with me too.
BTW, thanks to the federal cop that saw my CCW tucked under my armrest when I locked my keys in my truck when I stopped to help an elderly man who collapsed in the street... No way you missed it. You could have been a dick it being on federal property but weren't and it only means I'll continue to help when I can and am needed. I went to your commander and told him about the incident and lauded your actions, I did, however, leave out my pistol. On the other hand, I'm not a hero, not looking for headlines, or anything actually, just someone that can't watch bad shit happen to others and stand by or film it.
I think most of us on here are like this to one degree or another.
I'm glad the trooper is OK. and way to go for the good guys that helped him out,I think that trooper learned from this and will handle this type of situation with a bit more authority in the future.

I think its tough when you are on the side of a road with 1 idiot who just crashed his bike and needs taken downand cuffed. That feels pretty solid I am guessing, to most LEOs. The dude that stopped to help the biker needs a stiff boot to the ribs a couple times.
Stryker - I agree that sitting and watching stuff go down isnt who most of us are. I had a friend get shot a few months ago trying to do the right thing, but he didn't think it through. Flesh wounds except his hand, hand surgeon says it will be 100% at a year.
It was hard when I was a jolly volly fireman at a young age to always understand scene safety. I was tough and invincible. its an easy mindset to feel bulletproof.

So as not to come off as something I'm not, nor want to portray, I'll just say I am very pleased with the public assistance and that the Troop is ok.
I really wish I could share some stories and the awesome support I've enjoyed while serving 3 Sheriffs to date over my 20 and counting yrs of duty in Corrections. Unfortunately some folks don't feel that their Administration has their back if they have to be judged on a use of force issue, so they don't go "all in" when they should have the green light to do so. We have the green light. I'll leave it at that.

Wow... This could've ended much, much worse... They were perfect candidates for a lead lunch!
Glad nobody got too hurt, good on the citizens, the two perps are lucky the citizens didnt do a florida job on them. Cops are restrained by the law in a lot of cases, joe citizen much less so.
Sentencing was in wednesday to between four and six years in prison for resisting an officer and between 10 and 15 years for five other charges, including assault and attempting to disarm a police officer.
