Picked up this Kimber 22 conversion yesterday for $100 with 4 mags, barely fired. First order of business had to be quieting it down though!

Ended up threading the bbl 7/16-28, left the extension about .001" larger than the barrel and chamfered the end to tighten it up a bit inside the bushing.

The federal bulk pack runs great in it, its not quite as reliable as my Rugers, but not far off, better than a lot of 22 semi's. Fired probably 200 rounds today, not one of them was supersonic!

Its a perfect fit on my Tactical Custom, the aluminum slide on the aluminum frame makes for a superlight package, will be even better when I get my TBAC 22L1.

Man that's a great deal for $100 and good looking setup. I'm looking for a good deal on a conversion kit for my Kimber also. Anybody that has knowledge of one, please send it my way.

Again, nice gun.
