Both dealers in my area do not have a 30P-1 in stock. I'd like to order one from some place that has one on the shelf so I can avoid the 2mon waiting period to get one directly from TBAC. Anybody know where I can maybe find one, with good customer support? Its my first suppressor and will need some guidance on the process. My NFA trust is in place.

I'd call that service. I bought the Brake attached. The way it screws on, I think its the best of both worlds. That mount is impressive. And the finish is second to none. Ive only had mine out twice so far, but it has performed as advertised.

How would I go about purchasing a dark earth one from silencerco, getting it to you for finishing in black, and then transfered to my dealer? Would I hsbe to pay additional transfer fees?

Hi,

We can get it back on a repair letter from either your dealer prior to the Form 4 clearing, or from you after the Form 4 clears. There would just be whatever shipping comes to and a pretty nominal cost to put it through refinishing.

Another option is to use a thermal cover and then you almost never see the can's color anyway.

You need to be looking for one in stock at a dealer in your state. If it is at an out of state dealer, you are still going to have to wait for it to be transferred to your dealer. If you are still interested in looking out of state, my dealer usually has some in stock or en route to him. Yep, youre going to want a thermal cover anyway to knock down on mirage so you don't really see the can anyway unless youre between strings letting the can cool with the thermal cover off.

Why is it so important to by one from instate? Neither of the two that are within 4hrs of me have one. Just more waiting? I called TBAC today and they basically said that when the suppressor is built in 2mon, that they will ship it to my dealer. Then I can go there and fill out my Form 4 and start waiting?

If the suppressor is not already at a dealer in your state they have to file a Form 3 to get it to an NFA dealer in your state. Form 3 delays are approx 4-6 weeks if filed electronically.

Just to clarify on our delay, we have a production backlog right now of a few weeks. The balance of the approx 2 month period is waiting for the Form 3 to come back so we can ship it to your dealer.

what i did was i went to TBACs website to the dealer link :https://thunderbeastarms.com/dealers.

scroll down to PA and call them.

mine is at kings shooters in philly. when it gets approved, i will pack up the wife and boy and make a weekend trip.

i'd rather drive for a day then wait an extra 3 months for a form 3 to clear, then wait whoever knows how long for the form 4.
