Tikka Bolt Handle

I was looking to upgrade my bolt handle for my Tikka CTR. The factory knob is okay, but it feels kind of cheap with the plastic, and I think it might be slick with gloves on as the weather gets colder.

I really like the knurled design of the Glades. But I’ve heard horror stories about their customer service, ability to receive their orders, etc. Frankly any website/company that doesn’t have a phone number to call them really bothers me. http://gladesarmory.com/tikka/135/tikka-t3-rh-2-black-anodized-tactical-knob.html

That said, I’ve had trouble finding another bolt handle that’s remotely similar to that. I’ve looked at Sterk, and while I don’t like it nearly as much as knurled, the groved I think could fit my purpose, but $130 is a lot for just a handle.

Mountain tactical had a knurled version that looks great, but the handle is only offered in stainless and as seen in the pic of my CTR, I have the blued version. The one stainless part would look really weird.

Anarchy outdoors has a few option, but I’m not sure if the handle is too swept back for the type of knob I want to run. Dragon scale and acorn are ok, but a little more involved than ideally looking for.

I guess this boils down to a 2 part question:

1) Given that it seems like Glades is having issues, is there a good solution for getting a blued/anodized version of the Mountain tactical knob

2) is there another company that I should be looking into?

If anyone has any experience with this or related, I really would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Here you go mate. It’s a Manners T4A with the CTR inlet.

You fellas can order the Sterk handles through Tactical Works but I don’t know how long they keep stock for. (https://www.tacticalworks.com/Sterk-Shooting/)

Or just contact @cannoncrossfire through his Facebook page and put an order in (I’m pretty sure The page is called Sterk Shooting).

I have heard similar horror stories about Glades Armory's customer service, but I've been okay each time I've ordered something, as long as I didn't need/want anything that wasn't configured exactly as stated in the online store.

My most recent order was probably a month or so ago.

Do the Sterk handles have the normal 5/16-24 threading so you can switch to different knobs if you want to ?
They do have a 5/16"x24tpi standard bolt knob thread but keep in mind the knob is loctited on so it doesn't come off, and the handle and knob are designed to go together- not to swap for a different knob. The knob has a counterbore that mates to the 'skirt' on the handle for a seamless fit. You'd be changing the ergonomics if you change the knob it was designed to have. It's sort of like buying a rolex watch and then changing the band to some paracord instead.
