Rifle Scopes tikka rings on remington 700 action?

Will the bases and rings fit a remington 700 action? I have weaver bases and Leopold rings? The remingtion 700 Ction is from the 80s or 90s.

Sorry original post didn't make much sense. I have a tikka that has weaver bases and Leopold rings. I bought a rem 700 rifle from the 80s or 90s and was wondering if the weaver bases that is fit for the tikka will fit the the rem 700? Or do I have to buy new?

I have an older 700 which has had a variety of scopes and mounts. I doubt that any mount not designed specifically the 700 will work. I ended up putting an EGW picatinny rail mount on the 700 which then accepts a large variety of rings and mounts.

No, a Tikka base or mount will not work on a 700.
