Tikka T3 in 300wm

I've owned a couple of tikkas now, you can't go wrong getting one, very accurate out of the box. The things that shit me about the tikkas though are:
- factory stock is shite;
- twist rate for their rifles chambered in 300WM from experience will limit you to 180gr pills or so, but the people I know who are using that weight projectile are having good success (180gr accubonds mostly);
- the magazines - plastic, limited capacity etc;
- barrel is not threaded from the factory;
- the bolt handle is annoying but is easily replaced.
Saying this, I would happily buy more tikkas, I've got my eye on a 260 CTR in a KRG stock next.
There is plenty of aftermarket support for tikkas and are great to use for custom builds. A new stock and they are good to go.

Factory ammo should be at saami specs, but you probably won't find it with bullets much heavier than 200 gr. I have a t3 in 30-06 and have been limited by mag length trying to get closer to the lands with 180 grain bullets. I think the 300wsm would be a nice alternative if you are set on a tikka.
Ok thanks, I'm not set on a tikka because I knew of the shorter mags but would like a WM one of these days so just trying to make sure I don't unintentionally limit myself in the direction I choose to go.
My primary hunting rifle is a T3 300 win mag. I use this rifle a lot and it's a great lightweight hunting platform. If that your goal you will not be dissatisfied. I run 180gr Noslet Accubonds and it's crazy accurate for such a light gun. Mine has a B&C stock and a Vortex Viper HS.
Sold mine, couldn't run even the 185's to the lands in the factory length mag box (3.340 if I recall). You could turn it into a 300 WSM and run the bigger bullets and be fine COAL length.
