Tikka T3- T3x

I’ve operated Impacts, Bighorns, AI and defiance actions. I still can’t find an action that has a better bolt lift, smoother and more versatile than a Tikka T3. Why don’t more pro shooters use this action? Has anyone had any issues with a Tikka?

Probably because it isn’t cool to shoot a factory action in competition. ?

Bolt stops can break, but the real reason is I feel that most just want a custom action and I can’t blame them.
But I love my tikka’s!!

What is considered a custom action isn’t any more custom than a Tikka. How can it be custom when everyone that buys one gets exactly what you do. Tikkas are held to higher standards than many custom actions as shouldered prefits are available from many gunsmiths. Tikka’s machining tolerances are right up there with Bighorn, Curtis, and the one or two other actions that shouldered prefits are an option.

I agree ? but you would be surprised the amount of shooters that have never even ran a tikka
I had 2 defiance’s and shot a surgeon
a lot before I ever shot a tikka, knowing what I know now I probably would of wen’t a different way on my first few builds
