Tikka XLR Industries

Good Evening Everyone

I'd like to introduce myself as a new member. My name is Jason, and as my username implies, I love Tikkas!

I've been building an F(TR) .223 based on a T3 action. The stock I thought I was going to go with was a Manners T4A.

During a random search, I came across XLR Industries and noticed they have an inlet for the T3.

Does anyone have any real world experience with these stocks (hopefully with a Tikka)? They seem to be quality for a great price.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Re: Tikka XLR Industries

I have a chassis for a Savage long action but it really doesn't make a difference.

I'll give my opinions in a brief rundown.....
Quality: great
Ergo: great
Fit and finish: great
Customer service: great

All around a solid piece of kit. Since getting mine I've yet to shoot with it since I don't have glass yet but if there are any downsides its this: You will need higher scope rings than you normally would and in my particular situation (long action savage) I cannot remove my bolt without loosening the checkrest and turning it to one side or the other. Other than those two minor details the chassis is amazing. I would be shocked that anyine would be disappointed in it once handling and shooting with it.

Good luck and welcome to the hide. Check out the link in my sig line, it WILL answer nearly any question that you may have.
