Tikka ?

Will a T3 CTR barreled action drop into a Tikka t3 stock without any modification to stock including barrel channel?
And would barreled action work with normal Ts bottom plastic and mag without any mods
?

1) Will a CTR BA fit in T3 Stock without mods: Maybe, if the T3 stock is from a T3 Varmint.

2) Will a CTR BA work with normal T3 bottom plastic and mag. No, unless you have the little metal clip needed to hold the mag in. You can barely see the clip in front of the trigger housing held in place by the large black screw. CTR's don't have this clip, and Beretta won't sell you just the clip.

Oddly enough, my first CTR came with that little clip. Doesn't seem to interfere with CTR mags. My other one didn't come with it.

Thanks, does it need to be a varmit because of barrel contour? and I would think you could make that piece out of a soda can or the like.

Yes, the barrel on the CTR is on the Varmint contour size. The clip is made os SS and is way harder than a soda can (it looks more like the spring of a magazine follower). You can go to the PX zone and made a WTB thread, there are a lot of people that take out the clip from their Tikkas when swapping to another stocks/chassis and they can sell it to you. Thats what I did around half a year ago and I got one in less than a couple of days.
