So much i just skipped through, Couldn't watch it and didn't understand it.Tenet sucked.
Read the book +/- 30-40 years ago. Read it again last year.....great read again. Sounds like I need to be glad I didn’t watch movie. The thing that cracks me up about Hollywood’s interpretation of Special Forces, etc. is that the characters fall into two categories: robots and surfers.
The robots possess virtually no emotion and who have forced facial reactions that are akin to telling a 5 year old “Give me your scared face. Now give me your surprised face.”
The surfers are ultra relaxed pretty boys that almost always have a beer in their hand that can barely scrape together enough discipline to take their given objective in the movie seriously.
I fully understand there are all types of personalities in the world. I just find it odd when Hollywood can only seem to portray these two in military (namely “special ops”) flicks.
Tenet sucked.
I thought it was alright. Relative to the movies that have been out this year.So much i just skipped through, Couldn't watch it and didn't understand it.
I skip through most movies these days to see what its all about and to check for the wow factors before i watch.I thought it was alright. Relative to the movies that have been out this year.
Generally skipping around a movie makes hard to follow.
Those weren't SEALs, they were the CIA operatives.Worst line of the movie.
Dumbass #1: I'm Joe Blow
Rest of team: ???
DA #1: Well I just thought that since we're all probably going to die, I thought we should know each other's real names.
WTF????
Like a Seal team doesn't know everything there is to know about each other?
Absolutely terrible movie from a great book.
I don't know or care what "heat" is, or what mall ninja weapon handling they "get praise for" in it.
Here is what I hear. "Those hollywood boys playing with toy guns gave me boner."
Just say what it was....a POS movie. The wife and I watched this last night, even though the 3-star rating said "stay away". Complaints about fidelity to the original source material aside - this movie was just awful as a stand-alone work. Shitty acting, shitty writing, shitty directing, no character development, nothing that made me give a shit one way or the other how this ended. The various folks involved in each of the three aforementioned roles have previously generated work that ranges from "quite good" to "at least it didn't totally suck", and Amazon's original releases are usually solid if not spectacular, so I have no idea how this train wreck got approved for release.
The only thing shared between the two, were the title and the fact that humans were involved. Other than that, NOTHING.Read the book and the movie was unrecognizable from the the book. I like how John Kelley lived in some swanky ass house also LOL.
It is interesting how people can see different things. For example, I thought (as a general statement) the weapons handling was very bad.
I wanted “Sicario”. I got the Charlie Sheen “Navy SEALs” movie.
Blackwashing... I like that!ruined by black-washing (did I just coin that
e a single movie released in the last 2 or 3 years
And...Your loss dude.
Ranks up there with Collateral’s “yo homie is that my briefcase” scene
No shit, don't even bother. The bitch leading Seal Team 6 is bad enough but it doesn't end there. They also roll into Russia toting random Western weapons and gear on an undercover mission.Don’t waste your time. This movie was hyped up bull shit. If you watch it you’ll see why it’s so terrible in many many ways.
What? You have experienced that? That happens to me all the time. I take my Tramadol, fall off to sleep and here she comes, 6 feet tall, a buck 30. Yep, that's her. After 2 tours I'm glad that's the only thing that comes to me.Just watched it.
Navy Seal Lt. Cmdr. is a woman who looks to be about 6 feet tall and 130 pounds in the field leading a team.
I remember when what made Clancy novels / movies great was his attention to detail... researching facts and using details to make the story believable...
Equality - a squad of 8 Navy Seals can each do 200 push ups. This means the squad as a whole is able to do 1600 push ups worth of work to solve a military problem in X time.
Equity - half of that squad can now only struggle through 50 push ups. Total squad work output drops to 1000 push ups.
The idea is that in the equity model, the soldiers. Umm. Feel? Better about the Equity and these new Equity soldiers bring talents like...something...that the SEALS REALLY needed instead of a 60% growth in overall capability between Equity and Equality.
When a unit with Equity fights a unit with Equality, the unit with Equity is found dead to the last gender neutral circus freak.
What does this helo crew have in common with Kameltoe Harris...........?
Do you want the gradual taking of our rights to boil us slowly like a frog or accelerate until its on fire and people finally reach for the fire extinguisher? Why are so many here still giving their money to the Bezos Amazon/WaPo propaganda machine that is working feverishly to abolish our rights as citizens?
Seriously, fucking why?
For some, that sarcasm is fact and is exactly how they sleep at night while drifting off to Amazon Prime shows.Do you want the gradual taking of our rights to boil us slowly like a frog or accelerate until its on fire and people finally reach for the fire extinguisher?
I hope we get mandatory sex changes for every 3rd kid in a school, execution parties for Christians and straight whites, and forced tattoos of Che Guivera on everyones foreheads. Right now....tomorrow.....the day after. Why?
Because right now is when its "before it's too late" and in 10 years it won't be.
Unfortunately, if we were to stop buying things from companies that worked against us, you’d literally have to quit partaking in society. I’m actually 100% ok with that, but my wife and kids is a different story. I’d be just fine in a cabin in Montana living off the land but places like that are even getting hard to come by these days. Seriously, I admire your spirit and 1000000% agree with you, but I don’t know if hardly any major companies that have not donated to Antigun and anti freedom Causes in some way. Most play both sides and think we are too stupid to notice. Why are so many here still giving their money to the Bezos Amazon/WaPo propaganda machine that is working feverishly to abolish our rights as citizens?

I agree it's difficult to avoid them all, but very easy to avoid one or a few. I'm typing this on a MacBook (evil vs evil on plug and play PCs), the wife drives a Subaru (better value for our needs by far than anything the Big Three offer), and my daughter had all things Disney Princess growing up because I'm a sucker for those doe eyes of hers and she was infatuated with them like most little girls get.Unfortunately, if we were to stop buying things from companies that worked against us, you’d literally have to quit partaking in society. Well, one way I’m fighting back is by investing in said evil companies. Seriously, using my earnings to buy shit they despise.I agree it's difficult to avoid them all, but very easy to avoid one or a few. There's those who contribute to things I don't like, and then there's Amazon and The Washington Post. People bitch about WalMart, but Amazon is next level ChinaMart, and then there's the ComPost who are leading the charge against all things conservative while turning their back on their own lib hypocrisy.
I may be a tiny drop out of their ocean, but drops add up and honestly, Amazon was the easiest thing to avoid of all the companies I have quit supporting with my dollars.
Did anyone else notice the guy in the background loosening the bolts on the collector?I want you to know that the first ever all Gay Navy helicopter crew took flight in 1943.
The look on these guys faces reminds me of one time this coworker of mine tried to get me fired.Did anyone else notice the guy in the background loosening the bolts on the collector?
