As long as the zero is not changed inadvertently, no problem. I’ll deal with tools and know it won’t change unless I get out the tools and change it.

If you do do a lot of load development, or have one scope for multiple rifles I guess it makes sense, but one scope on one rifle with a worked up (or factory) load I don’t see the value in it personally.
 
Unless your under fire in the middle of the Hindu Kush who doesn't have the appropriate hex wrench or screwdriver handy when sighting in?? Buy a couple of these: They are in all probability the best thing Leupold ever made, certainly the most useful.........

I like a turret that I can lift turn and set down after zero. It must have the ability to prevent accidental adjustment. If that means it has a threaded cap covering it in a hunting scope situation fine. If it is exposed, it better have a screw on the top that tightens to prevent it's ability to lift.
