You need to define what your requirements are.
Most users of bolt action precision rifles prefers no takeup or creep, a crisp break at their preferred weigt and almost no overtravel. The weigt you choose will need to be based on your intended use. If it's a benchrest gun, the weight can be a couple ounces since those guns are not carried when loaded. If it's a tactical rifle, around 2.5-3 lbs is the norm. Your SPS-V trigger is probably in the 5-6 lb range as it came from the factory.
Select a purpose, then weight, then trigger for that purpose.
I have mostly used old style factory triggers. That is what I have on my personal 700. I have a factory 40x on my 40XB that I will be tinkering with soon. They are both exeptable field/tactical triggers.
