trigger tech bolt release?

Have a trigger tech special with the bolt release was or am planning on putting on a variant 700 but it has the bolt release on the action.Can I just remove the bolt release on the tt and install,or does it need to stay on due to the screw holding something inside the tt? thanks

Should be able to just take the screw out and bolt release off then put the screw back in. But some might leave the screw out so lets wait and hear if they put it back in like I always have.
