Triggercam and its alternatives

I’m thinking to invest in a triggercam to help me with post range session analysis and improvements. My main concerns are
1. The mounting solution relies on one small screw on aluminum thread, if I strip the thread then the unit is dead
2. Battery isn’t user serviceable, I don’t like the idea of attaching a portable power bank to it as a solution as the camera itself is already hefty enough.

Is there any alternatives in the market for scope mounted camera?

How would you rate the brightness and image quality with it mounted assuming no Triggercam is 10/10?
5/10. It puts a dark tint over everything, takes up the eye relief, and destroys the eyebox. It’s certainly a disadvantage running one but you can eventually get used to it. The few times that I take it off it’s like a breath of fresh air looking through the scope.

Thanks for the reply, that's good to know. They seem really neat but that is a bit of a drawback.

I have a cheapo Amazon phone mount I was thinking of using on my spotting scope to spot impacts. Could just call out the wind and elevation hold out loud and have it all recorded but it's another thing to have to set up and look after when shooting.

Yea the other tough part with that setup is target transitions. And not as good for training. I do like being able to watch back and see exact how steady I was or where exactly I was when I broke the shot etc.
