Re: Try before you buy?

Jack, I hear this a lot in another web site dealing with scuba equipment. It always seems that there are no places who have "try before you buy" equipment.

Ya pay your monies, ya take your chances.

There is always lot of great advice to "try before you buy", but never any advice as to where you can go to do this.

Re: Try before you buy?

Good observation ace! Little do you know ALOT of dealers have Demo equiptment that allow you to "try before you buy." Not sure how things are in AZ, but in Fl we have "walmarts" like that.

Re: Try before you buy?

Mr. Silencer in Mesa, AZ has demo shoots where you can try any of the suppressors he sells. To top that, he has a loyal customer following who bring their suppressors, SBR's, suppressed SBR's, etc. and allow people to try them.

Re: Try before you buy?

Yeah I'd get on the suppressor boards and see if there's a local shoot going on. The guy I bought a couple of mine from is real cool. Before I bought my Ti 5.56 can he handed me the suppressor, his SBR, and a 20rd box of ammo, and said go to it(we were ar the range).

Suppressor dealers are most likely into it themselves and have some demos to play around with. If anything maybe you could meet at the range and hear how it sounds. I'd be a little leery about letting someone put it on their rifle(unsure of bore being concentric).

not sure there is A LOT of dealers that allow this, but I'm one that does... as long as the customer provides the host and ammo, I'll let him have a couple test shots with the suppressors we run.
