Trying to understand binoculars and spotting scope eye pieces vs Rifle scopes

Hi all! I have 3 rifle scopes and all are very easy to see through from a distance of about 2" away or less from the eye piece and all 3 are 5x25x56mm lens. ive looked through very expensive binoculars (up to 20x) and spotting scopes up to 60x and no matter what I do I have to take my protective glasses off to see a damn thing. and what's even crazier is these both come with eye pieces you're supposed to spin out to use WITH glasses which makes it even more impossible to see through! am I loosing my mind here or there something really off? Why aren't we all buying March X 8-80 rifle scopes and using them with a reticle in place for the cost of these spotters. anyone else having this issue?? can anyone recommend an easy to see through budget spotting scope with a big eye piece like my Kahles or Schmidt and benders?

You spin the eye cups on binos and spotting scopes out when you are NOT wearing glasses. You leave them short (spun in) if you are wearing glasses cause you need the added eye relief since your eye is behind the glasses. You are doing it exactly backwards!

spotters don't need eye relief because there is no recoil to give you a black eye.
not sure i can solve your problem, but i put a phone on my spotter so i can see and record.

yea I figured that much on my own, however ive watched a few YouTube videos where the manufacturers explain it opposite which is why I commented. also still lose a dramatic amount of view using the eyepiece with glasses vs without them. and that is NOT happening with rifle scopes obviously.

actually I was thinking that's probably the best solution too. and what you're saying makes perfect sense. although if I was manufacturing a spotting scope for rifle enthusiasts I'd most likely keep it relevant to the rifle scope. and yes to all you snipes grinding your teeth I know its America and I can go make my own spotting scope if I think I can do it so much better. lol.
