Not to kill the thread but check out the link above. I have used some Meopta glass on a buddies scope but it was SFP -- the FOV was great and the image really really nice.. it was a bit light and weird on feature set.. Think less PRS, more hunting... but it looks like they might be blending the two.
I am standing by to try the 3-18

Unfortunately the new cheaper line does NOT have the amazing 45' FOV of the MeoStar 2.5-15-56 I shot
This all got started for me when I bought the early SSG as a 2018 new year's present to myself, fully intending to throw a No4 on it and call it a day. That No4 was going to be a MeoStar R2 2.5-15x56 because of its excellent low light reputation, FOV, and light weight. Then as I started comparing it to other scopes, I settled instead on a Docter V6 2.5-15x56, which seemed to be almost identical except also having parallax adjustment. The Docters scopes are all but unknown here but they too enjoy an excellent reputation in Europe (Germany in particular of course), and IIRC Ilya reviewed a 2-12 and found it to be good in low light, so the decision was all but made. Then life intervened (to include the Docter being OOS everywhere) and the SSG remained in the safe while I dealt with other stuff. In the meantime I discovered that there is in fact a lightweight FFP scope called the TT315M, and once the Gen3XR was announced I knew that that perfect ideal made more sense than buying multiple ~$1-$1.5k scopes. So this all started for me with a Meopta - far from killing this thread you're bringing it back!
One of those with their new Dichroic No4 does sound really interesting to me, not for this particular gun though:
https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/dichroic-reticles.6901597/
From that thread:
"For the remainder of this year, the Dichroic Reticle is going to be made available in the R1 3-12x56 FFP and SFP. More options are definitely in the works, however..."
Depending on how this year shakes out, I've had my eye on some classic hunting rifles. Those would just beg for such a scope.
And who knows, maybe Meopta could pick up this lightweight hybrid hunter/tactical torch and introduce a FFP 2.5-15x56 with parallax and tactical turrets/rets. That would be the cat's ass. For now though I'm still primarily interested in something more like the PST/XTR to tide me over while I wait for the TT315M Gen3XR, as those would so easily find a forever home on an AR upper unlike any No4s. Or getting a TT315M Gen2XR and flipping it for a loss if/when a Gen3XR emerges.
