I don't generally follow any democrat/commie; but I have to say, she better be taking her medicine to build a defense against that nasty Arkancidia bacteria.

She actually is making quite a bit of sense on some things. Granted, I still have a LOT of disagreement with some of her policy beliefs (2A, social welfare, environmental), but I think she's acutely aware of the pitfalls of the BIG tech, big GOV, and understands the issues with this road we're on with respect to COTUS.

She's certainly not afraid to speak her mind. I doubt she's truly independent but her democrat handlers haven't seemed to have made much of an effect. If she were smart, she'd get off that anti-gun thing, declare herself a moderate republican (since it's the same thing as "conservative" democrat) and I bet she'd find a lot more supporters outside of Hawaii. She's been very vocal about not getting into new foreign wars, which again Trump did NOT do (first president since ????); but she does seem somewhat naïve on the foreign policy front as well when it comes to the global game of chess. She's got a long way to go before she's presidential level smarts; but she may get there. She still seems very, very young in her ability to do cause and effect which is something Trump actually understood (minus how much he probably lost the female vote with twitter).

There's a VAST difference between Classical Liberalism / Democrats and the New Face of Progressive "Democratic Socialists" -- which is where the Democrat party is heading at breakneck speed.

Classic Liberials/Democrats are blue collar, pro-union, pro-social services, etc. You can carry on a conversation with them without race or some other derangement syndrome coming into play. They even had some admittedly good ideas. Sadly, there is little remaining of this form of Liberalism today, as academia, the media, and Hollywood have hijacked the political Left and pointed the car straight for the edge of the cliff.

I would put Gabbard into the Classical Liberal/Democrat category -- staunch free speech, against most rights-infringing legislation, etc -- and also easy on the eyes, and easy to have a rational conversation with.

Unfortunately, I don't think she'll be around long. The pressure for her to fall in line with the extreme views of the rest of her party must be immense. She'll either have to cave to their demands, or run as an independent. The Left aren't only the group who openly "feels powerful" when they murder a child in the womb, but they will also not hesitate to cannibalize their own people at the first sign of dissent within their ranks.

Now that she is woke to government tyranny maybe she has a little bit more respect for the 2A and might understand why government monopolizing our health care puts us at risk.

Can she fucking connect the dots?
Let's hope she's getting enlightened. But as I suggested, her thought process is still way too juvenile in development to connect those dots - she's playing checkers and not 3-D chess. Sadly, many people I know are also still playing checkers.

I agree with The Horta, she falls (from what I can tell) into what would have been the Jimmy Carter type democrat (aka what democrats used to be); but she does have some bernie ideals that quickly need to go away. I do believe one could actually have a debate with her and it not go to name calling and shouting; I could be wrong. I didn't watch any of "their" debates so I couldn't tell if that's true or not.

Certainly, by suggesting people call "PJ" she's sticking her neck way out - and we know she and hillary are not friends....quick...take your meds for Arkancidia.

If she'd shift into a more conservative frame, the ramifications would be huge actually. She's highly visible, decently attractive, former military, and somewhat polished in her speaking - she needs to grow, and grow to the right. Having somebody of that visibility eschew the current communist agenda would be good for all Americans, not just (D) or (R) or whatever.

I believe she's more a Libertarian than anything else. I wonder why she's being so vocal now? What does she have planned?
Not really. She is less bad on war than almost anyone else in Washington, that’s about it. If you pay attention to her talking about foreign policy she always says she opposes “regime change wars”, but never says, full stop, to end the war of terror

Not saying she's a card carrying Libertarian, but she's leaning more to that side than anything else.

Taken directly from her site

Tulsi Gabbard’s platform is closely aligned with Senator Bernie Sanders’ platform

So even with the quoted articles above, she still has a looooong way to go to be considered libertarian.

That was while she was running for office as a Demwit. I'd like to hear what her views are now in 2021.
I’d be the happiest person on earth if she renounced her pepsi party-ness and took a pledge to the non-aggression principle. But... I’m not holding my breath

She has the "essence" of someone that chases Marine enlisted.....the bad girl thing......"You know this is fraternization....dont you Sergeant?"

Guys in whites? She knows what "Manning the Rail" is all about.

She doesn't strike me as the kind that trolls in the e-club after hours.

Nah she hides in the parking lot and waits for the never deployed "Terminal Lance" that gets in a fight with his ME Uber driver and is abandoned in the parking lot.

She has a reputation to uphold and does her shit in secret.
