I've had my Traeger for about seven months now or so and I use it at least every other day.

Typically I'm using it for the usual stuff, smoking deer jerky, brisket, pork butt, burgers, chicken, I've made pizza in it...

Today I've been thinking about some unique ways other people are using their Traeger.

yeah, also thought of this tasty food, absolute lover of jerky
By the way, how do you cook it? Are there any secrets you can share with us? Speaking of jerky, I usually buy it in the market. However, not long ago my husband decided that we need to hold a healthy lifestyle and jerky, as you can guess, is forbidden, which is really disappointing for me, I love it so much. The only condition he put is that I CAN eat it, but it should be cooked by me, not purchased. I'm not that great cooker to make it on my own, however I love so much that I decided to purchase special dehydrator. I thought that it would be useful not only for my purposes, but also for making dehydrated fruits and other products. I've checked Well Fed Food Blog and thanks to the info written there I purchased Nesco FD-75A Snackmaster Pro Food Dehydrator and yeaaaah, enjoying jerky now!

Any of you guys using a pellet tube for adding extra smoke? If not there pretty cheap to pick up and for straight smoking they are a must. Been doing quite a few whole trout and cold out of the fridge the next day there to die for.
