If women's prisons are like the men's, new prisoners are required to "check in" with whoever runs their racial group. This check-in involves a "paper work" check where they find out exactly what you're in for; no paper work is apparently not an option.
If there are any suspicions about your background, people inside have cell phones and will call contacts outside to run your background.

Mostly, we don’t. Multi-life sentences are typically served concurrently- not consecutively- though consecutive is an option. And, “life” rarely means “sentenced spend the remainder of your life in prison.” A life sentence can be as short as 10 years in prison before being eligible for parole.

I’ve only been inside one women’s prison and it was actually kind of nice. Lots of crafts, carpet and natural light. The broads seemed pretty happy too. Some of them were child killers.
I’m betting she’ll live out the rest of her days making macaroni art and munching carpet.
