I traded my Schmidt and Bender short dot for a USO 1.8x-10x scope from a member here on the board. Only issue with the scope was that the illuminated reticle was not working (yes, changed battery and made sure all contacts were clean).

So, I called US Optics and spoke to Becky - she gives me an RMA number and says we will get right on it and this won't cost a dime. It's all under warranty. They are also going to reset the scope to factory zero, give it a complete once over and then take a look at the front glass which seems to have lost two very small pieces of lense coating and fix that as well. SHe said it should not take them more than a day or two to fix and get it back to me late next week as the rifle it's used on is a duty rifle. I have never been so impressed by a companies customer service. If they live up to what is promised it will be amazing.

Now, to say something about the board members on here. The nice guy I bought this scope from is a real stand up guy. He felt really bad that the reticle was not functional and is sending me a check to cover my shipping expenses. Impressive. Christian - nice job man, you know how to conduct business properly. Enjoy you new Short Dot!

New #1 US Optics fan....and yes, they really are built like a damn tank.

It is great to hear about a company standing behind their products. I have read many great things about USO on this board and will definitely be looking at their offerings when I am looking for a new scope.

My experiences with them have been outstanding. They go the extra mile every time no questions asked whether you need a new screw or a new scope.

I already knew how well USO takes cares of customers.
I didn't know that the person he bought it from (Hide member) was such an honorable gent.

You seem to be surrounded by good folks, Adam!

I am mightily impressed by both USO and the gent that I both the scope from.....just nice tomdo business with people who know what honor means.

I am certainly a happy USO owner and user.....they always meet or exceed my expectations. Usually the latter.

I did mean to show respect for the way the seller handled this issue. My guess is he is the kind of person who does the right thing even when no one is looking....just like USO.
