can't really see the 500 yard dot in the pic but the scope works and it's easy to hit at 500 yards

Nice pics, have only had my Tac-30 to 300 but I am happy with it for sure. Now I just need to check out my USO 3-17... Wait, I don't have one of those haha looks good though.

What bullets are you using in your 8 twist 18" 5.56 and how close are they to the 500yd circle on the Burris? I'm shooting a 1 in 9, 16"er with 55 gr Vmax's and the 300 yd dot is very close for me. 500 would be a good stretch though. I'm guessing you're using something heavier and you also have a much better barrel but I'm just curious, might get another upper down the road.

I run 77g OTM Atlanta Arms the 500 yard stuff, much less wind drift than 55g
in a good crosswind, I just hold the dot to the edge of the plate and pull the trigger

I like the little TAC30
it works well

some 250 yard offhand shooting with it
