Guess it doesn't matter, it's the Internet.... Let it be written, let it be true. </div></div>
That is more often the case than not.
Anyone that has dealt directly with a manufacturer knows how great it is to be able to run ideas by them, let them know what you and their customers would like to see. Who was the 1st to offer multiple reticles, turrets, colors, tube sizes, etc.
USO invented the wheel so to speak, they became the first optics manufacturer to to take the "listen to the customer" approach, one thing people are all too quick to forget.
They broke the ground, others followed suit.

So often in these threads there are many who don't recognize all the intangibles of USO...
When you go to SHOT you talk with John at the booth not a corporate drone with an accent.
How quickly can S&B, Nightforce, et al turn your reticle idea into production? Those conversations rarely happen. Hell even if you foot the whole reticle bill yourself it's only a grand.
Fashion???? Really???? So scope value is based on how it looks when you're not using it...priceless!
FWIW the CS, ability to communicate, support for the shooting sports, activity within the community, bombproof durability are significant factors for me and worth more than the last tenth of a percentile of glass performance.
