If one were going with a fixed parallax on a scope, and wanted to shoot primarily at 100-600yds what would be a good range to have the parallax set at?

Reason why I'm asking is I'm getting a USO ST-10 and didn't know whether to keep the parallax fixed at their default 100yds, or for a bit farther (i.e. 200yds).

    Thanks in advance.

200 seems to be almost spot on at 300, in all my scopes. The parallax issues for me, usually showed up at 50-100yrds, when I had fixed scopes, shooting rimfires.

If you set the parallax-free distance at 300 yards, parallax/focus at 100 yards is the issue, not farther out. My Hensoldt SSG has a fixed focus (is "parallax free") at 300m and it's good from 200 to at least 1kyds.

I agree with s'biker - ERGO is a more important option that EREK, IMO. In fact, I'm waiting for USPS to deliver my ST-10 today that went back to USO to have the ERGO option added ($200 plus shipping, took about a month).
