Va Gun Confiscation Looming!

I do think Northam is trying to bait us into taking the first shot.

He wants an excuse to mobilize the average American against gun owners.

The Dems want guns gone.

They are willing to incite violence in order to turn public opinion against us.

We must exhibit extreme self control and exhaust all political and non-violent options.

This was posted by VCDL. I hadn't seen anyone mention this. Great idea!

"People from around the world are watching VCDL and are supporting us in spirit and financially (thank you). Some ask "what else can we do to help. How about this?
May we request that you consider calling/emailing the Virginia Tourism Corporation and let them know that your money does not get spent in anti-gun states.
Here is their website contact listing: https://www.vatc.org/about/contact/

Consider doing the same for regular businesses via the Better Business Bureau. Here is a link with the contact information: https://www.bbb.org/bbb-directory/us/va

And again,
Thank you for your support!"

Listen to VA's new motto song

very cool. Back story from VCDL:

The first time I heard, "I Won't Back Down" by Tom Petty, I realized it was the perfect song for VCDL, as it describes our sheer will and determination.

Kenneth Hall, a patriot from Nebraska who is also a singer, approached us and told us we could use any of the songs he has recorded free of charge. Having listened to a few of his songs, I asked him if he could do a special version of Petty's song for VCDL.

He agreed and the song (a parody version) is called "We Won't Back Down" and is royalty free for our use!

The end of the strong stresses the unity and solidarity we are getting from gun owners across the nation. "We Won't Back Down" will be heard at the start of the rally on Lobby Day at 11 am on 1/20/20 and at the start of other future VCDL events.

Click here to listen to VCDL's new fight song.

We would all do well to remember a line from that song.

“There ain’t no easy way out.”

This contest is for all the freedoms. They have already expressed their desire to kill babies after birth. If you don’t think that these same people will refrain from enslaving and killing you after they have disarmed you, you are sorely mistaken.

The colonies used the motto, “Conquer or die.”

This is in Law Enforcement Today, a major outlet for L.E. news.

Note the tone of it.... it is very pro-2A and uses terms like 'gun grabbers,' etc.

Certainly not written in a way that implies Law Enforcement is cheering on gun control and can't wait to grab everyone's AR.

Cheers,

Sirhr

Sadly, it's my understanding that the organization that represents the State Police has asked Northam to excempt existing and former LEO's from any 10 round mag laws. Kind of a dick move. I understand their role is to protect their members so they are fighting for their members rights to not be turned into felons but it kind of creates an "us vs. them" situation when the people enforcing the laws will be exempt from the laws.

This is an exerpt from a letter I wrote to some liberal friends after they told me read the Federalist papers to understand why the citizens should not have to be armed, and that the National Guard was supposed to take up for us. Apparently they need a new set of glasses!

I read the Federalist papers #29 and #46, which pertain the establishment of a militia and the right to bear arms. It was a good read. Thanks for suggesting it.

The information within seems to suggest that Publius ( Madison, Hamilton and Jay) believes that an armed citizenry, that gathers once to twice a year, at least, to train is a means to stand against a federal army, if needed. The idea is the federal army should never be able to be lead by a corrupted government against the people it has been tasked with serving, and should, by nature, never be larger than the armed citizenry. The citizens that train: “little more can reasonably be aimed at, with respect to the people at large, than to have them properly armed and equipped.” Properly seems to imply that they have the means to stand and fight with a set set of tools that allows them to do so.

This yeomanry is who will be in Richmond on the 20th. The liberal media will paint it differently for you, and the conservative media will be just as biased.

We as a people are getting what we ask for in regards to our representation. We have one side as diehard federalist’s and one side leaning communist/socialist. There is no longer a middle ground, at least as far as media outlet representation is concerned. I submit that these yeoman marching, and the millions that can’t make the trip, are the only means to defend against a tyrannical government, and to strip them of their rightful arms is against what the framers have spelled out in the Constitution, and in the Federalist papers that sold it to the citizens.

Reading these papers has reaffirmed my position on why we need to keep and bear arms.

Gotta get permits first and you wont get a permit to do that. Better to put signs in their front yard. They will get taken down on the daily, but it just shows them that they are not untouchable.
That is what keeps them up at night, They Can Be Touched.

Although we strive for peace, we know our skillset may someday be required to protect our freedoms.

Leftists are very uncomfortable with the idea that another person with a gun could take their life at any time they wanted, when in actuality - pretty much every car or truck driver could do the same - intentionally, or completely by accident. Of course, the fact that leftists have trouble with facts or reality is no surprise to any of us.

They see reality as they want it to be, not how it is. Such a skewed worldview...

Gonna go start a Red Flag/Virginia confiscation play list thread. Come on over and post your shock and awe songs.
Can the 2A counties peacefully secede from Richmond?

Is there legal precedent?

Richmond is basically a bloated communist tick.

I heard something I haven't seen mentioned, but that creating a firearm registry is against federal law thanks for the Firearm Protection Act of 1985.

"No such rule or regulation prescribed [by the Attorney General] after the date of the enactment of the Firearms Owners Protection Act may require that records required to be maintained under this chapter or any portion of the contents of such records, be recorded at or transferred to a facility owned, managed, or controlled by the United States or any State or any political subdivision thereof, nor that any system of registration of firearms, firearms owners, or firearms transactions or disposition be established. Nothing in this section expands or restricts the Secretary's authority to inquire into the disposition of any firearm in the course of a criminal investigation."

If anyone has more knowledge than me, please educate me (us). That would make their entire gun registry a no-go.

And this is the problem with the whole fucking government and every government employee.

York County passed Constitutional Resolution tonight 4 to 1 vote. Decent turnout in the cold rain, a lot of good speakers (1 minute, 74 total I believe). Sad we are at this point, but we need to continue to send the message.

I do like how the resolution starts: " WHEREAS, York County is the place in which freedom was won with the final battle of the Revolutionary War in 1781; and" ...

ZY

Any SANE person would recognize that the gun grab is NOT the will of the people. But apparently the leftists would rather risk the boogaloo by continuing their plans for tyranny. It’s NOT like they haven’t been informed of the citizens thoughts on the matter.

Work to vote out the people who voted against even if it passed.

The leftists are desperate and deranged.

We need to make their lives uncomfortable as possible without breaking the law.

This means we protest outside their homes.

This means we post their photos and home addresses all over Virginia. Coffee shops, church bulletin board, bar, tack shop, yard signs and billboards.

These assholes are traitors and the public needs to know.

Mathews County passed I heard.

Clarke meeting went pretty well, about 400 people total I'd say. Only about two or three dirty communists against, about 15-17 patriots in favor. Was nice and respectful all the same and I think we've got a great shot of rationality taking the wheel on this one, but we'll see.

Not only that but forcing felons to register a gun is illegal per the Constitution, 5th Amendment, and any registry would specifically NOT apply to them. So...

They don’t care because they think they rule you and until we stand up and tell these fuckers otherwise this bullshit will continue.

Passed what exactly?

Anyone hear when Chesterfield is voting? I'm noting the following about this county:

(1) right near Richmond
(2) 4th largest county by population (behind Fairfax, Prince William and Loundon)
(3) its county board is 4 Republicans and 1 Democrat.
(5) there are 3 or so Democratic delegates to the General Assembly representing, in part, the county

Obviously, this would be a huge win if it supported the Constitution...

Chesterfield had their meeting on the 11th according to this link below, not sure what came of it.

Everyone might wanna bookmark this 2A sanctuary coordinator w/ search by County feature:
