Va Gun Confiscation Looming!

We are already close to 2 dozen counties having passed 2A sanctuary resolutions with many more counties having resolutions on the agenda in the coming few weeks.

I believe it is not out of the realm of possibility to have >50% of VA's 95 counties having passed such a resolution before the new year.

This movement has gained press from numerous local publications and several national (Washington post). VA (Dem) lawmakers are voicing concern to their leadership (see my above post).

Virginia is not going quietly and we are not backing down.

We have a phenomenal organization (my perspective) in the VCDL who is spearheading the resistance to these new laws. I would suggest any one concerned about what is happening in VA to look them up.

However, all of this is moot if we do not persist as this is likely just the opening salvo in VA and another battle in the long war of attrition being waged against our individual liberties. Our participation is high at the moment as the defeat and new restrictive bills are fresh.

It is vital that we do not become complacent (that is how this happened in the first place). We need to take a page from their playbook. We need to start showing up en masse at rallies and protests. The preservation of our liberty must be an active fight as the forces looking to destroy it most assuredly are taking action.

The VCDL will have a lobby day on 1/20/20 at the state capitol of Virginia. It is imperative that we have an exceptionally strong showing at this event. Numbers speak. Make this the 2A million man march.

The men of Virginia led this nation in the fight against tyranny at its founding and enshrined our God given rights in the constitution. Let the men and women of Virginia and her allies across the country stand up and fight for these rights once again.

Ssooo....does that mean you won't be standing next to us when we open a giant can of boog?

On the contrary...I plan to be wherever that can of boog gets opened. I do, however, believe that we're past the point of this being resolved at the ballot box. If left strictly to the voters then Generation X is likely the last generation of "true Americans".

The overwhelming trend towards Communism / Socialism by the Millennial / Gen Y means that the conservative majority is slipping fast and not likely to be recovered without drastic steps like requiring proof of brain activity before voting.

Unfortunately this is a war of attrition and I'm afraid it is already lost. The best outcome that we can hope for is to win some concessions before we capitulate....better to end up Post-WWII Japan then East Germany.

The current crop of mid 20s-and-under are full blown commie/socialists and anti-capitalist and when they have a solid majority there won't be any stopping the descent.

I don't know what it would take to really turn this around but I don't see it happening with the current anti-Conservative movement in the Universities.
You cannot turn the tide of sheeple around who are falling for the promises of the left to receive freebies and special preferential status with no increase in taxes, no decline in standard of living. Sooner or later the left will control US Senate, House, and Presidency.

Immediately thereafter it is time "...to turn them (guns) all in, Mr. and Ms. America" to quote Feinstein. At that point everyone not on board with socialist redistribution schemes and further dismantling of the constitution has a choice. Either to comply and wait until the thought police sends you to the gulags or to open a can of B. (I wish the point about the gulags would be far fetched but the openly expressed mortal hate against everybody not-woke points into a very dark direction.)

Those who choose the latter option should be clear about the objective. Yes, you can make a point that you are not going to take this shit, that you are willing to go down in flames, etc. But how will a couple dozen Ruby Ridges change popular opinion in favor of your cause, which is liberty and sovereignty of the individual?

Think more about ways to make it undeniably clear to the sheeple that they made a deal with the devil. That the elitist they elected do not care about anything other than themselves, the power they have over others, and the money they can siphon off. How would you do that? How can you convince the sheeple that they are indeed their own masters, responsible for their own survival and well being, regardless of what the overlords promised and/or demanded.

Plain and simple, America is made up of more "We Will Not Comply" people than far left liberals might want to think about.
Trust me, giving up wasn't in our ancestors vocabulary, and it isn't in mine!
We will protect our constitution by saying No More! We are tired of this mess!

Just like we didn't have a chance in the Revolutionary War, right?
There are always the brave, the complacent and the cowards.

Dunno if this is true, but I have no reason to doubt it.

You know, I really didn't have a whole lotta use for skinheads/preppers, but I think I'm starting to come around to that way of thinking, anymore. I think when this escalates to a full-scale movement, we are going to have to find us a free state and fence/gate the whole F'n place off and fly one huge ass middle finger to those that want to destroy the "fabric" of what's left of us Patriotic/red blooded Americans. I'm really quite tired of my country being torn apart by these Dems/socialist/globalist/communist, F's! I took a F'n Oath, 3x mind you, to protect that Oath, against enemies, foreign and domestic, These F's that allowed our borders to be overrun, need to be held accountable. I'm pretty sure "The Man" has got this site monitored and I've got a BIG red flag, by my name, but F, I'm really pissed about all this shit that's been going on, what are these F's thinking?? OK, rant over. Mac:mad:

We wont change liberal minds. Waste of time. We need to get all the 2A people aware. The mainstream media isnt reporting this. Fox is a puppet. Tell/spread the word. Sad part is most of the people I tell are just like "thats crazy" and never think twice about it cuz theres a game on tv saturday thats way more important.

As long as good men continue to do nothing, you are right, evil men will have victory. But we own most the guns and have most the training. Fight for your Constitution or lose it.

I count on you, my chosen brothers.

I was born in Germany and when we 'lost the war' we really gained the freedom from either Hitler's or Stalin's boot.
My parents, in their twenties back then, were in the Western sector and became the beneficiaries of the very generous and noble behavior of the American victors. I was born into the beginnings of the Wirtschaftswunder (economic miracle) and life was good.

Relatives that got caught on the Eastern side of the wall in the DDR (German Democratic Republic, a Soviet-sponsored socialist regime) did not fare so well. We sent them Christmas packages this time of the year and the packages did not contain radios or Swiss watches but items my mother would buy every week like coffee, cookies, soap, pantyhoses, etc. The recipients were extremely grateful for these gifts and we lobbed over the wall as much as the socialist authorities would allow to come in.

The wall was 'marketed' in their propaganda as a bulwark against capitalist infiltration. Strange that the automatic claymore mines were on their side. To get in and out from the West you had to pass guard towers with machine guns and search lights, barbed wire, and plenty of soldiers with shouldered AKs. An eerie place in the middle of peaceful and prosperous post-war Europe.

When I visited East Berlin about 30 years after the war, it was like someone turned the color saturation down on an old TV set. Everything was grey and grimy. Instead of a Bimmer or a Merc, their idea of a luxury car was a two-stroke powered Lada. Slapped together by members of the same ethnic group that, on the other side of the wall, turned "Made in Germany" from a warning into a symbol of exceptional quality. Same people, same starting point (ruins), just different incentives. The workers over there had a saying that "We pretend to work and they pretend to feed us". Well, we know how that equitable society ended. West Germany had to invest over 2.5 trillion dollars (and still counting) since the reunification to fix that mess up.

In the late '80s I decided to go to the US as a visiting scientist, liked it here, and tapped the temporary visa track out to the last day. Returned in '95 back to Germany since undocumented immigrants were not the rage yet. Started a business with my brother and spent most of my mental energy dealing with the unending and onerous regulations and restrictions in Germany. We still figured out how to make good money even after paying well over 50% in taxes. When I then realized that I could not spend the rest left over for me the way I wanted because of a ton of other rules, my father fortunately sent me the application for a green card. He had realized before me that trying to live in Germany after having experienced the freedoms in America was like trying to fit into your communion suit as an adult. Too short in the arms and too tight in the waist.

Since '98 I live here permanently and never looked back. It would be a hell of a shame if the socialist finally round me up in my 60s and in the USA of all places. That is not going to happen without a fight.

Sorry for the lengthy, personal story but maybe it adds perspective to the political philosophy we are dealing with right now. This is not just about guns, this is about whether the USA turns from a beacon of freedom and prosperity into a third-world banana republic, centrally (mis)managed by ass-clowns.

Just another tidbit of 'woke' insanity. Pressured by the left, Germany decided to go cold turkey on nuclear power. They made remarkable progress with distributed solar installations but now pay three times as much per kWh and release more CO2 per capita, than France. Because - duh- the sun does not shine at night but the lights still need to stay on. So they import electricity generated with fossil fuel at premium prices.

You can substitute British in this quote from Patrick Henry with whatever you feel most appropriately describes our opposition.
Yet, one has to admit the tensions are high these days because the corrupt far left has backed us into a corner.
Amazing how similar the times were in the pre-revolutionary war days.
Now we have antifa trying to force us to give in and basically become slaves to our government.

"They tell us, sir, that we are weak; unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a (British) guard shall be stationed in every house? Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot? Sir, we are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power."

From VCDL FB post:
From Loudoun, that chair Randall is out of control!

MOTION:
The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors is opposed to any legislation that has or may be introduced in the Virginia General Assembly that could have the effect of unlawfully infringing on the rights of law abiding citizens to keep and bear arms, as guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution and Article I, Section 13 of the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

This was put forward by Supervisor Higgins and seconded by Supervisor Bouna. Meyer wanted to amend to take out 2nd Amendment reference and insert Bill of Rights. Amendment failed. Discussion on main motion devolved into a cat fight with Chair Randall exposing her mindset of domination over the citizens. Randall claimed to be embarrassed for all in the room for the partisan prank. When Supervisor Volpe asked her to remove her MDA pin, Randall threw a tantrum. Meyer also taking cheap shots at Higgins.
Motion failed.
Yea- Higgins, Volpe
Nay- Randall, Meyer, Umstaddt, Saines
Abstaining- Bouna, Buffington
Absent- Letourno

41 counties now! HELL YEAH! One we thought would never pass, Roanoke County, passed! MASSIVE turnouts at some of the Board of Supervisor meetings. Estimates over 1000 people at some meetings.

I'm so proud of my fellow Virginians right now. It's awesome to see so many people stand up and say "F You, this isn't going to happen".

The 98-99% reaction in Roanoke to Haas' drivel was: GFY

Way to go!

From the Virginia Citizens' Defense League headlines: ELEVEN more VA counties have ratified their 2nd Amendment Sanctuary status, bringing the total number up to 41 as of currently.

----------
Virginia now has 41 sanctuaries! Tuesday, we got 11!

Alleghany County
Amherst County
Culpeper County
City of Norton
Gloucester County
Goochland County
King George County
Middlesex County
Orange County
Page County
Roanoke County

Four did not vote tonight, but had hearings:

Danville
Fairfax County
Virginia Beach

York County
----------

So many attendees and supporters arrived at the hearing for Alleghany County that the conference had to be relocated to a nearby middle school.

The liberals are counting on conservatives with a mortgage and a family to support to not stand up and fight for their constitutional rights. I don't see gun owners willing to get arrested like pro abortion supporters and climate change ones do.

If the leftist extremists have watched Sicario: Day of the Soldado, they will realize that the tolerance limit for a mentally and physically combat-ready man is about one terrorist attack deep. An attempt to disarm law abiding people meets the definition of a terrorist attack.

A little off topic but not...We armed the entire marines in one day

No, not off-topic at all... Knowing that this many guns currently exist in the hands of good folks nationwide gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling to the level that even bourbon cannot...

So what is going to happen when Joe Citizen is pulled over on the highway by Super Trooper and during the car search illegal weapons are discovered?
Joe is going to be facing state charges.

While I agree that it is a profound statement. It's too damn late. Recall that black face bastard and his sexual predator underling. Suffer through until the next election and elect people who are dedicated to repealing any of the communist bullshit.
I really hope that this is an eye opening event for the rest of the country.
Wake up and get involved

I signed a recall petition against Northam, but we really need to get it organized.
Getting him recalled by voting is one way but, only 100% if you get enough votes. There are ways that will insure that vote is favorable, if you think voting is the only way,... recall happens. Never start an game your not willing to 442.

yea it made me smile....I was at one of our big gunstores on BF and it was shoulder to shoulder

I fucking hate crowded trains and buses... However I would not mind a crowded gun store. In fact it will only put a genuine grin of satisfaction on my face. That says something...

I signed up for the VCDL news letter and they are sending daily updates, very useful.

Here is a great vid on the situation in one county, but with great message for entire state/nation

We need a National Citizens' Defense League now. Modeled directly after VCDL and with VCDL and other organizations' leadership. The NRA is becoming obsolete.

You know this is just a thought but...
Last night I was watching BodyCam on ID and some scumbag with a gun started shooting at the police.
By the time that it was over well, they had to have SWAT and an armored vehicle to stop one man.
We know that what this idiot did was terrible but think about it another way,

If or when our government wants to stab good law abiding gun owners in the backs, well our numbers far exceed one.

It would not be beneficial nor just to start a war with decent law abiding gun owners because government doesn't have what it takes to stop good freedom loving people

That's not a threat, but you know what it says about a well regulated militia, that is why that is so important.

Violence should always be the last resort after the system has failed in every other area.

We have a lot of work ahead of us, we need to get together peacefully at the lobby day at Richmond, Jan 2020.
2A Sanctuary Counties are great but they need to see just how many of us oppose unconstitutional gun grabs!

I am joining the VCDL for sure. Their message is outstanding and they deliver it professionally.

Also, I just heard from my good old boy connection in Rapp Co. Rapp Co. overwhelmingly supports 2A Sanctuary and voted for it on Tuesday night. So 2 of my 3 counties are '2A Sanctuary.' My 3rd, Arlington, of course will never go for it.
