What is the penalty for carrying during a "state of emergency". Let them arrest 10,000. Flood the court system. Fight on the premise that a "state of emergency" does not strip you of your rights.

I agree with you 99.99%. Prior to the Governor declaring a state of emergency it would have been 100% on this issue.

We are play chess not checkers. There has to be a strategy. Just showing up and waving your finger at the law makers means NOTHING.

The governor made his first move. With bringing guns being our next move, it puts the governor on his heels and gives a couple options.

Arrest anyone with a gun (this option works out the best, I will explain in a minute).

The police/governor could do nothing and see how it plays out. If there is violence then yes that plays into his hand. If there is no violence then we win. We show the public we are peaceful and show the Governor we are serious about defying his "power".

Now we actually want this to go to court. If you are arrested I believe that the best defense would be that the governor can not strip you of your constitutional rights no matter what emergency is going on.

I believe because of that charges will not be filed but will be dropped. If that happens someone (or everyone)needs to sue the the state/police for violating their rights. We need to get this in the courts and get small victories to start.

If charges are dropped and no one sues the state but instead walks away then, governor won that fight.

They do not want this in the courts, that is where we need to get it.

The purpose of bring guns is a chess move. Hell don't bring any ammo, if you like.

Agree. Unfortunately, it is too late to call the rally off with all the buses scheduled, etc.

I sent an email to van Cleave suggesting to divert some of the buses at the last minute to shopping malls, sports venues, and the neighborhoods of the traitors.

That would have a chance to garner support from 'fence sitters' on this issue; the Leftists in Richmond have proven to be tone-deaf and you are wasting your time lobbying there.

It would also allow for a PR counter -via many home-made videos on social media- to the M$M propaganda machine trying to show the 2A supporters in the worst light at the Capitol.

While in reality, we know this is true, those people do not live in reality.
