I just completed the PSR1 course in Kinston, NC this past weekend. I wanted to share a quick summary of my experience. In a word the weekend was awesome. Sean Little is a hell of a marksman, and has plenty of skills to share with shooters of any level. This particular class only had 5 shooters, so each of us got a lot of 1 on 1 help from an outstanding instructor.
This class was a two day, with the morning of the first day in the classroom. Both days flew by, and were just plain fun. I left there with a much better understanding of how to set up my rifle, develop my handloads, practice at my home range, read the wind and mirage, we developed a drop chart for everyone's rifle and much more. If you do take this class bring lots of ammo! You are going to shoot a ton all the way out to 960 yards!
If any of you are looking for a good rifle class you should definitely check out Sean Little at http://www.vaportrailtactical.net.

Re: Vapor Trail Tactical

I've taken a couple courses with Sean, and have to agree that he is a good guy and top notch instructor. Everyone that goes through his classes learns a lot, and is a better shooter by the time the class is over. With only five guys in the class, I'm sure you guys got a lot of individual instruction, and a lot of bang for your training buck.

I'm taking the PSR2 class in June, and am really looking forward to it.

I've shot a few matches with Sean. He's a true professional, an excellent shot and a heck of a competitor. His easy-going personality combined with his relevant real-world experience sets him apart from many other marksmanship instructors. Not once have I been squadded with him that I haven't learned something from him.

Re: Vapor Trail Tactical

Thanks for the positive remarks guys!! I had a great time at the class, it went by really fast!! Hope to see and shoot with you guys again, and also with those whom I get to shoot with on a regular basis. It really isn't the shooting, I do ok at that, its really the people who make it enjoyable and competitive.

I would like to plug Jason's web site www.valueshooter.com, not only because he wrote a review of my mentioned class, but because he can really write well!!

Jason is a regular guy who is into shooting like the rest of us, and is a fairly new shooter, so his views and information relate to many people who are either wanting to get into shooting or trying to pick a particular weapon, piece of equipment, or ammo. His articles are super easy to read for dumb dumbs like myself, plus he doesn't just cover precision rifles, he also does pistols, shotguns, and carbines.

I think you guys will find his web site to have alot of good information, there are those who could make reading about something you really love boring and dull. Jason I think could write about how to chew bubble gum and you would find alot of good info on it and enjoy the read.

thanks for that link. I bookmarked ValueShooter. I liked that list of training take-aways, especially pt 4.

Tactical Mousepad. That is a new one...
