Vickerman bullet seater - Any thoughts?

Hey guys I'm about to get down to loading some 308Win and 300Win later this weekend (hoepfully) and I've got a question about bullet seaters. I've got Forster micrometer adjustment bullet seaters for both calibers, but I've also got an old school Vickerman bullet seater that I've always used for my 300 Weatherby. Is there any real advantage to the Vicerman style (keeping the bullet straight or otherwise)? Thanks for the advise!

Re: Vickerman bullet seater - Any thoughts?

The Vickerman's forte was convience. Others copied the style long ago but the only one I know of who still makes them is RCBS. I've been in this business a LONG time and have never heard anyone say they do a thing for accurcy.

Don't think they are in the same league as Forster/Redding straight-line seaters.
