I think if people are aware of why this can happen, they will be more conciencious of their firearm handling. When you KNOW you cannot trust the fire control, you will handle the firearm differently. That is a vastly different approach that what I commonly hear...
"I have owned 30 of these firearms, and never once had a problem" "there isn't a problem with these triggers, it is someone monkeying around with them"
Let's just stop denying that these triggers require special handling if we insist on using them. Will they fail every time? NO. Can any of them fail? YES. Can we tell when they will? NO. Ok, then lets handle them all, like they could..
It sounds like you already know to handle any firearm in this fashion, so why don't we encourage that behavior, instead of saying there isn't a problem?

Personally, I'm looking forward to a demonstration of what could go wrong and why. Frankly, when I decided to video my rifle I didn't know if it was going to work or not (Because as I said I rarely use the safety). I'm not going to sit here and say that just because I've never had a problem that one doesn't exist. To do so without knowing exactly what I'm talking about would be irresponsible. I sincerely hope you can put something together to demonstrate the problem.
Cheers,
John
