Rifle Scopes Vortex ebr2 reticle

I am in the market for a ffp scope in mils. I am looking at a Vortex razor gen1 in the 5-20 and a pst gen2 in the 5-25. I had a chance to look through each one side by side and they appear pretty dang comparable optically. Both have basically the same reticle with an open center instead of a crosshair. For anyone that has used these, what is your opinion on aiming at small targets at distance with this reticle. When I looked at these scopes they were not mounted and distance was limited. I was not able to get a good feel for the open reticle center at that time.

Great reticle you will love it. I use it for competition and can hit small targets including small paper target shots and shooting small groups. You are making the right choice.

i have been using one for the past year and some change for PRS and long distance challenges and have never felt limited due to the reticle. its a great option, cant go wrong.

I have two razor gen II's with that reticle. Love the tiny open center, I feel it actually improves on the ability to hit very small targets at long distances.
