Rifle Scopes Vortex Razor Operation ??

I took delivery of a new Vortex Razor scope this week.
Out of the box, while dialing elevation, the turret did not "click" until I had dialed 6 or 7 minutes of elevation. It then "clicked" a few times up to 9 or 10 minutes of elevation.
Returning to zero, it "clicked" intermittently a few times.
Windage clicks with each 1/4 MOA of adjustment.
Is this normal?

No... call Vortex and ask. Perhaps the turret screws aren't torqued down.

The screws aren't tight on the turret. I experienced the same thing on the one I just bought and was able to lift the turret off without touching the set screws.

Could also be the zero stop isn't tightened down as well.

Yeah it sounds like the cap or zero stop screws not tightened down
