From many reviews that I've read on here and elsewhere this scope seems to be top notch, however no one seems to have them in stock anywhere (even at MSRP it seems).

Is this optic THAT good, or is it that its a good optic matched with what seems to be an unbelievably good warranty?

I contacted Vortex direct today about their Mil/Leo pricing and they told me turn around time is running 5 months from order. Wow.

Anyone know of any other leads on where to pic one of these up? Or recommendations for another optic in the same range?

Cheers.

This may not be the popular answer here on this forum but I found several recently on Ebay. I ended up buying a used one from a fellow forum member and he had several people in line for it so...

There is one in MRAD on Ebay right now. I know Ebay isn't popular around here but it's available.

You might also check with Cameraland, they have one on their website but it doesn't tell whether they are in stock or not.

I had a question for vortex today. They replied:

Unfortunately, due to the high demand on these scopes, I cannot give you a specific time on when this will be available. Historically people have been waiting for these scopes anywhere between 6 months to a year. Hopefully we will be able to get this in your hands sooner as we are definitely trying to keep up with the high demand.

Same here. Couple of local shops have them on the shelves.

Mine came in last week. Thanks to Scott at Liberty Optics. I had to wait a while, but I was impressed by the service I got both from Scott and directly from Vortex.

I got it mounted and zeroed at 100 yds last Saturday as it started to rain. I am hping it will be dry during the holiday so I can run a few tests on it.
