Took the plunge today!! Ordered the MPA Comp, 20 Kukri, TT Diamond. Now the wait begins. The very short wait time sealed the deal after a phone call to Vudoo today. All parts for my build are in stock, Should have it in my hands in 2 weeks! ?

From my experience I believe there is a better way. This is what I use. It does a fantastic job and it quick "compared to other methods". If you have questions just ask.

You use the JB paste? I remember reading a while back that one of the match barrel makers will not honor their warranty if you scrub their barrels with a cutting paste.
Boretech has a product similar to JB but they say their product does not remove any metal and you can use it everyday if you wish. I bought this mainly because I read that you can damage a barrel if you don't know what you are doing with JB or Iosso. This is all from reading, not personal experience.
I have heard that many times from the Clique on RFC. (if one clique member said his shit didn't stink the other clique members would agree)
I have used JB for years and have never damaged a barrel. JB is not abrasive, ISSO is not abrasive, I have that too. ISSO is more of a polish than anything else. Besides, in this application the JB is only going into the chamber, not into the rifling. I have used JB in all my guns including my three Anschutz rifles.
People will have to use their own judgment on what and what not to use for cleaning. Personally the JB works fantastic for me and I would highly recommend it. Just as I would Sweet's 7.62, a lot of people I hear don't like that.
I have a similar experience with those people over there.
If you listen to those over on Rimfire Feminist Central, who bark the loudest, you will find that they are the ones with practically no useful knowledge of a projectile in flight. But they can tell you how you should clean a barrel. They can call BS on things that they know absolutely 0 about.
Yes, I'm afraid it's true, over on the Feminist Forum, you will see this daily . " With X brand of ammo, my gun will bla bla bla , all day long."

My questions have always been , " what happens if you're doing your part wrong? And : Did you get behind that gun to not do your part? And: What part are you doing that is your part, that you're supposed to do, that you might not be doing?
This is usually the " part" where they start screaming " Troll" while typing something snide and reaching for the polygrip to adhere the false teeth at the same time.
Meanwhile, other members of this notable clique, start chiming in with advice. They are known as the benchrest shooters. Not a single one of them have ever won or placed in a single Nationally sanctioned event. But they can tell you how to do it. And what you are doing wrong. At the other end of the spectrum, what you're doing wrong, is listening to them.
Here is a short list of the EXPERT advice given over there -----
1. Your .22 will shoot better when there is some wind. - REPORTED BY Some guy from Austrailia who claims to have won a national benchrest competition " in groups" Not aggregates. He was so insignificant that I don't remember his name.
2. You should not shoot CCI standard velocity ammo in an Anschutz gun. - The Infamous PenageGuy
3. A tuner will completely CURE cold bore flier problems. - Lee
4. Every single 22 long rifle accuracy problem that you've ever had, or ever will have, is caused by a carbon ring. - All of the above.
5. The carbon ring is there, even if you can see it. It's still there.------ all of the above.
6. One of my all time favorites purported by many idiots: The accuracy bell curve applies to guns and barrels, but not .22 ammunition. ---------------ThomasConner
7. use a wooden dowel, so it can get stuck in the barrel when it splinters off into the rifling and gets stuck in there with whatever else is stuck in there. ------------need I say more?
8. Shooting at night for extreme accuracy in 0 wind conditions : " Oh he must be shooting in the land of the midnight sun" how can he see anything? This came from the brilliant geniuses who have never heard of Thomas Edison. Or LED lighting. Or a lighted range.-----SmoothTrigger and minimouse.
9. Parallax correction when shooting for extreme precision is a waste of time and makes no difference. This one was supported by the infamous Admin, ---- Granny from the Beverly Hillbillies. AND a suspension was given when someone pointed out that this dumb shit was completely wrong, and backed it up with SCIENCE. ------- He was an idiot. Idiots are hard to remember.
10. AMENDMENT: Steve Boelter is the president of Anschutz North America. Steve and I know each other over the many years on the net. He is a fine gentleman whom I respect as a person. HE IS NOT president of Anschutz. Danny Spann is CEO of Anschutz North America. Also a fine gentleman. The PARROTS OVER THERE parroted this over and over and over.
These things are often PARROTED by the self proclaimed experts over there. I am not making any of this up.
You can't make this up. It's impossible.

I did a search on J Dewey looking for those velt patches, were did you find them, I would appreciate it.
I have the old lady load my mags so I don’t have any issues with oil feeling on my hands... keeps me from spending money on different knobs.. or at least that’s what I tell her lol
I keep a fresh blue paper shop towel handy when I'm shooting with SK/Lapua .22RF ammo - never used anything else that will wipe fingers any cleaner without using some sort of liquid soap/solvent.
Got mine at Brownells. I always wait for their sale they put on every now and then.
I know what you mean, I don't know which is worse, Lapua or SK. I just wipe my hand off, best I can do if it gets to bad.
Well, I joined the club. Have it setup identical to my Match/comp rig.... have always wanted a red white and blue stock. Just in time for the 4th as well ????
Nice! I’m sure once you start shooting it it will probably be one of your favorites. I grab my vudoo every time I go shooting now. Waiting for my 60moa rail at the moment. My Athlon etr just showed up so next time I hope I can dial out for 500 yards.

Like I posted, I have the area 419 knob on the way. Also more Vudoo magazines, less handling of ammo between shooting by getting them loaded when the line is cold.

Sold the first Vudoo I brought a year ago and regretted it ever since, till now. I was able to pick up this lightly used Vudoo from another hide member and pieced it together this evening.

Nice! I’m trying to decide between 18” and 20”. At the moment, I don’t have a can, so the 20” seems like it would “look” better to me. That having been said, I’ll be getting my first can ordered in the next few months once I thin things out and decide which I want, and an 18” would be a slightly better host. Decisions, decisions...

I think 18 or 20 will work. I would prefer the 18 if a can is to be used.
I've been thinking about trying it. I may end up doing the AX stock conversion to my AT. Does the thumb rest get in the way? I thought I saw that mentioned somewhere.

Keep in mind that the Tenon will be nearly 2 inches.. Makes a 20 inch barrel look like an 18 inch barrel. Photo of my rifle above is a 20 inch Ace.
+1. I ordered a 20" because I thought it would 'look good' but it actually looked a.bit short than what I thought what would 'look good'. It has grown on me and with nrl22, I am glad I have the 20" instead of anything longer
All my Bighorn CF comp rifles wear 26" bbls, and are always shot with a TBAC Ultra 7 attached. So, my V-22s look fairly 'compact' with 22" bbls, even while wearing a 22TD suppressor.
When I order mine next week, I think I am gonna do the 17in ace with the wrought iron flute, aiax or other ai stock and call it good. Have been going back and fourth on the ace or carbon fiber barrel to save a little weight. Not 100 percent sure on the ace but mostly. Unless I could find a right priced kmw sentinal stock. That would be awesome, don't know if I could contain myself.
I believe I’ll picking up the 18” model in the PX, and will have to start figuring out which suppressor I want for it next! ☺ Probably going to keep my eyes open for a used Bravo or Xray for it as an initial home, and will decide what stock/chassis will be it’s permanent home later as funds allow. I can’t decide if I want to make a complete AIAT clone as a trainer, or have fun w/ a Sentinel or A5/PRS1/W3, etc. Again, decisions, decisions...
