I already own an AI for precision shooting and a Stag 2 for carbine. But, want another .308 to have at the range for those days when the old lady comes shooting with me. So, i thought an AR10 would be a nice choice to add to the arsenal. What do you guys reccomend for a precision AR ?

I've been very happy with the DPMS SASS and the price is pretty good depending on what you are looking for. You can definitely buy more accurate, but I found it be a very good price / accuracy offering.

LWRC REPR 20 inch,
Shoots 1/2 moa out of the box, Side charger, piston, match trigger, its what every Ar-10 should be. If your military PM me

I have a GAP SASS and it is a nice shooter - 3/4 MOA consistently and it is a pleasure to shoot. As was said above, it all depends on the price you want to pay. There are lots of choices on here and you could probably buy a used one in the Firearms section.

An AR10 is an Armalite, which is what I would recommend. Check www.AR15.com in the equipment exchange under "AR10"

I'll pile on and recommend ArmaLite. I own 2 of them and could not be mmore pleased.

The only AR-10 out there is made by Armalite,.(which is what I own & recommend)... Everything else is just a .308 caliber AR.
Either buy a AR-10T or built one up to the "T" spec's like I did and save a few hundred bucks. My Armalite was built around a Rock Creek 24in. barrel blank,. With the exception of the brake (Surefire), charging handle (BCM Gunfighter), and pistol grip (Houge) everything else is a Armalite part all the way down to the roll pins.

LMT MWS (my personal choice), Larue OBR, Noveske N6 all are outstanding 308 AR platforms.
