Anyway, my FA63 match holds 55-56 grains of H2O, depending on how high I run the meniscus. Or was that the difference between sized and fired? So many facts, so few remaining brain cells.
IIRC, Lapua holds 56 or whatever.
Just to keep it sorta comparable, what capacities do you guys see with various brass makes? My LC86 runs about 56, even though it's a bit lighter in overall weight than the FA stuff.
The wide variations in .308 case capacity, according to some of my older sources, are more common with non-US makes (a lot like 9mm...).
