I am too Buddy. I'm in awe of what these people have done. What's crazy is there is EXACTLY 18 people that were able to do this. All right here. That's amazing. I've been just shaking my head in amazement since the very beginning of this thing. I get up today and find even though we've reached our goal, there is still a couple people that have contacted me wanting to get behind this. I say that as nothing more than Full Disclosure so it's out there. Although this is officially shut down for what we set out to do, I've informed these folks if they want to get in I'm not gonna say no due to their wonderful generosity and wanting to be a part of the show. I've already contacted Bogey to let him know he may very well end up with a check down the road to help with gas, oil, maybe a new bar chain or two, paint, stickers, stencils, chaps, a Dixie Cup , whatever. I also told him those that wanna come late are welcome to, but we'll put this to rest here as far as 'looking' for participation, other than the obligatory snide remarks we'll have and unconscionable requests we'll have for adornments and photos/vids of this epic deal.

You might find that you would be better served with a Sig P226 Tacops (9mm) or a P227 Tacops (45 ACP)......Not that I'm biased or anything . I think the P226 holds about 142 rounds of nine and the P227 about 112 of 45 ACP (/sarc....). They are both a delight to shoot. My favorite is the P226.

If you're gonna do that, do an HK45. Ten is enough, even if they could have done more. HK typically has underwhelming capacity because they're looking for absolute function.

I have that forward thumbs hold that 'activates' the P226's slide safety during recoil where it doesnt hold open on the last round 50% of the time. I had a P226 E2 briefly.

For 9mm I have a M&P 9 fullsize and a Beretta M9A3, just wanted some 45ACP fun again as my only 45 is a custom 1911.

Yep. Momma is still carrying my drunk ass home as we speak. I'm positive I was still too drunk to drive until about an hour ago. We get there and it was in fact gorgeous, and apparently the only way I could enjoy it was to get buck nekkid and stagger up and down the beach and skinny dip while my sainted lady followed behind and picked up articles of clothing.
Then I apparently insisted on some Waffle House on the way back to the hotel. I'm terrified of bad I would've felt this morning without the hash brown fortification.
