Short of buying a TT or other aftermarket trigger, does anyone know where I can get a new trigger spring to lower the pull weight? Mine is at a hefty 4# and I cannot get it any lower.

Found a place that sold a replacement spring but found out he quit selling them 5 years ago.

I would not do it like that. I get a Diamond stone. Just run both ends over it to flatten them first.
Try it several times with gauge. Make sure you are pulling straight back each time.
Take a LITTLE more off. Try it until correct. Stop before it’s where you want. Use it a while, as it settles in it could get lighter.

Put a screw/bolt in the middle of the spring that fits it well, chuck it up in a drill press and lightly file/grind some of the OD down. Or perhaps talk to MCarbo...maybe they have something that will work.

Measure the length of the spring loaded and ready to fire.
Measure the spring length after the firing pin drops.
Remove the spring and measure its length all by itself.

Find a local company that sells springs and have them test it and sell you a couple of lighter replacement springs.

Replace, set and fire away.
