I’m new here and new to bolt action. I purchased a Weatherby Vanguard 6.5 Creedmore for deer hunting But I’m curious, what is this rifle capable of on the range?

Well...it's a hunting rifle with a light weight barrel. So while it's totally capable of hitting 1000+ yards (if you are), it will quickly heat up and start stringing shots out. But those first couple of shots will be nice ;-)
Vanguards are Howa 1500 actions with hammer forged barrels. Made in Japan and high quality... they are great guns.

No, thank you. You reminded me I have a Vanguard in 7 mag that I need to pull out and take to the range...
I have a Vanguard heavy barrel in 308 that shoots .3-.4 moa all day. Barrel is a bit heavier than your most likely but you should be good with yours until it heats up. I love mine, I dropped it into an MDT chassis and it was well worth it.
