Well, youngest daughter piked a BRK to keep the same brand as her older sister. Hopefully she gets to use it on a deer later this year. Their initials are the same AO.
We had a good thread going on this topic on the LT Wright Knives forum. I hunt caribou and deer here in AK, and have settled on the LT Wright bandit for what you describe. Key for me was the belly angle for good skinning without reducing its performance for other tasks.
