I saw this today and figured that it is a good refresher

Join the contest SubscribeI really enjoyed it! I like the Speysides personally. I have not seen the 14 locally. I reckon you may like it as well. A vague and broad statement, but everybody has a different palate. Iffin' you don't like it, send the rest of the bottle to me....How is it? Oban 14 is my favorite scotch.
Awesome glass. Drank a lot of that with my dad long ago.
It’s probably the best extra anejo tequila I’ve had. I paid $275 which seems decent compared to online anyway.Damn that looks tasty
Very nice! I’m slowly building my anejo collection….It’s probably the best extra anejo tequila I’ve had. I paid $275 which seems decent compared to online anyway.
Nice! Ocho is a killer additive free Anejo. Compoveda is sweet and delicious but you can start picking out the flavorings they add once you start noticing. I’m not familiar with the Padre brand. I’ve tried to move away from tequilas with additives. Nothing wrong or harmful about them but it’s kinda like cheating or adding a something to bourbon to get it to taste better. Cheers
Would if I could. I had the 11,13 and 15. Operative word being hadWaiting for you to tell me how much?![]()
I love that 17 year
I’ve found it’s sometimes depressing to take pictures of empty bottles lolNot as much as me…. Yours is basically full. WTF?![]()
Don’t worry buddy. I got a 19 we can drink while the calvary arrives
Holy crap!!!!! Bunnahabhain 18 and Laphroaig 25....you da man!!! What's the 28 year old Islay and the other Laphroaig? Way out of my price range...but gotta ask.Came home to a delivery from the scotch fairy today. Importing from Europe VAT free is works out to about 60% of what I’d pay stateside if you buy six or more bottles and the selection is just bananas.
Bunnahabhain is up first

Will have to find that one…It’s probably the best extra anejo tequila I’ve had. I paid $275 which seems decent compared to online anyway.
Will do. I have an Anejo and Gold from Clase Azul. They are delicious but they use additives so kinda cheating. Also extremely overpriced these days. We used to pay $75 for the reposado in MXWill have to find that one…
Try a bottle of Cantera Negra if you have the chance. I still prefer Classe Azul for the smoothness, but Cantera Negra is so damn tasty! More flavorful than any other tequila I’ve ever had…ever.
Still well under $100 if you can find it, but it’s clearly becoming more popular; I used to pick it up for $45 or so, and it was always on the shelf around here. Starting to get harder to find…

the 28y Port Askaig is actually quite good. The peat/smoke doesn’t hit until the finish and it has (to me, anyway) an interesting citrusy note that sets it apart from other Islays. I’d consider it delicate for an Islay.Holy crap!!!!! Bunnahabhain 18 and Laphroaig 25....you da man!!! What's the 28 year old Islay and the other Laphroaig? Way out of my price range...but gotta ask.
Never had the 8 Ardeg, but "Dr. Bill" makes stuff I like including the Glenmorangie "one-offs." I have quite a few comittee release Arbegs. This last one though...OMG...I acquired 3 bottles.
Though I have a wide range of Single Malts...Arbelour, Glenmorangie, Tomatin, something from Costco that is 20 years, some 10,12 year Irish SM (the 16 finally got back into stock...yay), but my favs are from Islay and Campletown. Campletown...Glen Scotia Double Cask really hits over it's price point for me.the 28y Port Askaig is actually quite good. I haven’t tried the 25y Laphroaig yet. I also have the 34y from the same series that’s collecting dust on the top shelf for a special occasion. The Laphroaig Lore in the back of that pic is insanely complex and punches waaay above its price point at around $100. That’s assuming you like the Laphroaig flavor profile, of course. If not, you’ll probably think it tastes like a smoldering bag full of salty assholes soaked in iodine.
I tried it at my buddy’s place for the first time and I had a little too much fun. So they got it for my birthday.Let us know how the soft red wheat is
