The advantage of the 419 is the ease of use with suppressors. Easy on easy off and if you accidentally cross thread it, you just replace the adapter. It doesn’t damage your barrel. area 419 can do a sidewinder custom fit as well.Just looked at the hellfire looks great. I definitely prefer the smithed on brakes for that seamless look!
Most effective brake I've ever used... However, I didn't care for the way it mounted as it would loosen way too easily.Insite arms Heathen brake hands down
Me too. Put an Area 419 Hellfire on my 6.5 CM and was like "Wow!!" and never looked further.I'm pleased with the 419 Hellfire. However, I have no first hand knowledge of others to compare it to.
Here's one on a Hardy sendero profile barrelRead good things on the heathen brake. The idea makes sense. I wish they were not the self timing type. Although they look like they have a more seamless appearance then most, anyone have pics of one on a carbon sendero barrel?

I concur, effective but came loose when hand tightened, which defeats the purpose imo. Most effective brake I've ever used... However, I didn't care for the way it mounted as it would loosen way too easily.
I've got the original model and it looks like the newer models have a little bit different & thinner collar nut. Maybe they've made improvements.I have a pair of soft jaw channel locks that do wonders and use them on mine.

We just released a new self timing brake, even comes in 7mm. Ports aren't rearward facing, so less concussion on the shooter. You can also lock the collar after you time it for more consistent mounting. https://hawkinsprecision.com/product/tank-st-muzzle-brake/
I wouldn’t say it’s the best at recoil reduction but I do agree it’s one of not the best at staying target.I have used a lot of brakes through the years. Best I have found for recoil reduction and staying on target is the Heathen brake.
I'm really interested in this.
I agree and love my hellfire. Used to shoot a lot of them too so a twoforJust looked at the hellfire looks great. I definitely prefer the smithed on brakes for that seamless look!
