Thats a great one!
BTW I mentioned LOP solely in regards to your TWO posts that indicate you might want to think about how square you are behind ANY system. If your only 6'2" and Maxed on on a ACIS - still finding it too short AND you'd be "OK with a 20" LOP" in a other post, I'd seriously address your mechanics first.
I am going to bring this up again - because of your third post about the LOP as not an issue to think about.
Repeating, the symptoms you're unknowingly describing are not uncommon. Just last week, I had a guy 5'9", saying he has long neck and really long arms, his LOP max'd at 17-1/2" LOP with a tall comb. He still felt he needed a bit more. He went through an elaborate explanation and justification and resistant to understand via verbal communication. So, I put in a very short range self-spotting drill so it would become apparent to him that maybe being a bit turned on the gun was not great. With his hips, shoulders more square and bent at the waist, his head is less tilted,
less muscle tension is required to make a solid shoulder pocket; Now he has a 14" LOP, lower comb and can see the moment of the impacts at short range (harder than 300+ were one has a bit of time to require - when using less technique)
Ya, one might have a heavy system and a light caliber... but if one tried a short-range self spotting drill with those crazy LOPs associated with turned hips on a magnum, it will point out the issue.
My intent is solely to be helpful ~ has zero to do with the chassis, actually any chasis or stock.
