Rifle Scopes what does the dang reticle look like!!

Now that I realize OP is talking about magazine ads I kind of get where they are coming from. For people that don’t use the internet it’s likely quite difficult to get a reticle image without going to a store and looking through every scope.

hell, I’m jealous of them to be honest. Then again I know what reticles are available so at least I’ve got that.
Anyone who chooses not to use basic internet in this day and age should not expect to have convenience when trying to find information.

The real "hidden" spec which is very important to rimfire guys... is the parallax range. Lots of manufacturers never list the parallax min/max in the spec list. Remember that bushnell scope that only parallax down to 75yds? Boy some rimfire people were upset about that when it arrived.
Yeah, Bass Pro has fucked up ads.
They should have kept the Cabelas ad people to work them.
Cabelas always listed prices in small boxes next to the item for different models/sizes.
BPS just list something like: starting at $27.99, or they'll do $27.99-$642.50.

Nothing about my local BPS was helpful the last half dozen times I've been there. I've given up on it unless I want to look at any Uberti guns I know they have on display. And then I'll go buy one from DGW.
What they really try to keep secret is Parallax range. You cant hardly ever find that specification with Leupold and a number of other scope manufacturers. Every 22 or airgun scope out there with an adjustable objective, should parallax correct from at least 25 yards on the short side, out to infinity. But they don't. They're afraid they might lose something at 1000 yards which every scope is going to do anyway.
Well im a slow learner, I i just went to op vortex scopes . I looked at a $500 and a $2000 scope, both showed excellent pictures of the scope and all the specs including paralax distance and 3 or 4 letters that were the name of the reticle but no picture of the reticle.

Good-God...what is wrong with you, bro? You apparently can manage to get on the Internet and read a gun forum but can't figure out how to look up reticles?

Thanks Lefty, on my original post i said manufacturers but i was thinking retailers or dealers. Im an old man and confuse myself often. I have learned to look at the manf to see what i want and then look for prices.
