I shot the K&M match this weekend with George, and he was running a GT with Hornady ATip 110s. It was spooky watching his hits on target, as I never once saw an impact that wasn't dead center on elevation when he was shooting.
It's a round designed for PRS use, similar to a Dasher without the issues Dashers often have with magazine feeding, and slightly more velocity potential.
Also, be prepared for a flood of 'Gay Tiger' memes and jokes.
I would say that is a testament to the shooter more than the cartridge or bullet. Doubt results would have been different if he was shooter a 6x47 or a Dasher with 105 Hybrids or DTACs
Saw a "podcast" with Scott Satterlee and Ryan Castle last night.'
Scott gave a favorable mention to the 115's
Haven't tried any RDF's myself.

It was on my FB feed, may not have been an actual "podcast" perse. What podcast?
nope nope nope. too much logic hereThis is part of the issue. Sillyness. What does a chamber have to do with dead center elevation hits?
I'd say it's more a testament to George Gardner's Prometheus scale loading the powder to the half kernel and possibly the increased consistency of machined bullet tips much more so than the chamber dimensions ?
I'd say his follow through and form have more to do with it than a tenth of an inch difference in cartridge dimensions or 5 degrees of shoulder angle.

So you are saying it’s not the arrow it’s the indian or something to that effect......lolAnd all that snake oil left him a full 20 points behind the leader... hmmm....
That's not a dig on Mr. Gardner.. finishing top 20 in that field of shooters is impressive. I just think its disingenuous to perpetuate the magical properties of the hot new shiny.. whatever it may be this week.
Dunno what to tell you, just saying what we saw on steel. Cartridge design can definitely play into it, and I am sure George's reloading abilities don't hurt either - but the consistency he had on steel was obvious when you watched him shoot.
LolI wonder how much time and money George (and other people) invested in developing the 6 GT only to see endless gay tiger references. I cannot see how this will reward his efforts to bring you a better product. Please think about that.

I cannot see how this will reward his efforts to bring you yet another expensive product that doesn't do anything existing products don't do already. Please think about that.

You forgot 6mm creedFor someone looking for some real information, it sits between the Dasher and 47L. Most people are running about 35gr of a stick powder. Some people claim its magic but its just the shiniest object this week. Years ago it was the 6.5 creedmoor for GAP, then the 6.5 4S. Now its the 6GT.
You couldn't ask for better free publicity. Watch it catch on and become commonplace slang.
"What caliber is that?"
"Oh, I'm rocking the Tiger for this build."
Besides, how gay does "Dasher" sound yet everyone is shooting it?![]()
Somebody changed my post. It wasn’t me.

if you wanna argue less case taper = barrel life. varget versus H4350Theoretically speaking, what would be the advantage to running gay tiger over 6xc if running dtacs?
I’m assuming varget and the reported barrel life?
