What firearm youtube channels do you like?

So I do overnight security for a gov contract, which means lots of sitting on youtube since it's all we can get on..... Also starting at page 1 I've made it to page 1349 of the motivational thread lol. What channels do you gentlemen prefer? What do you recommend? Any suggestions on good precision/long range ones that aren't dry as shit. When I joined I got sent some youtube links to Phillip Velayo to educate me on this lifestyle. I loved it educational but he has character which keeps me attentive. So far here's what I watch incase any of you are interested.

Vickers tactv-His older videos are great cinematics, educational, entertaining.
Garandthumb- Interesting unbiased gun reviews, military sense of humor, shoots cool shit
9 Holes reviews-Tests and pushes out military styled weapons out to different ranges, gives good history on things. I wish we had a range like the one he shoots at here in Colorado.
Vintage shooters club- I think he's the guy from ak operators union, shoots interesting weapons, can seem a bit off, love the camera though you see the trace on everything he shoots clearly.
Military Arms Channel- entertaining, cool firearms, but very professional really unlike most marinetubers I've seen so this is what I watch when people are in the office
Shawn Ryans channel- just seems like a down to earth Vet, keeps it real, pretty good shit on a lot of topics
TFBTV- Started off really good back in the day now it just seems like a new review on a glock every other week, shit has gotten boring.

And I learn a lot about ballistics and history from Ryan Muckenhirn. I also like the roasting between James and Mark, reminds me of my old friend, Lee (RIP.)

VA Meat Hunter, a korean-american who's day job is being a surgeon but he is really a good hunter, too. And a great recipe for korean dishes involving venison.

Garand Thumb, just super cool.

I used to watch some of Ryan Cleckner's live streams when that was a thing.

For a while, I was into Tiborasaurus Rex for his reviews and also, his philosophy. I like his approach to God and this country. However, I view the sniper 101 series not so much as instruction as it is an advertisment for training classes. Those episodes are not actually teaching anything, they are talking about things that could be important. Such as Coriolis Effect, which is dealt with in the Army's work at the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland. But also, most military snipers will tell you they have not had to deal with it because the effect is only a minor concern after 1,000 yards and most engagements in active deployment were 600 yards and less. So, yeah, a lot of theory and getting the viewer excited but you end up learning more from books that you can read.

The Bearded Butcher brothers for the videos on skinning, quartering, and processing a harvest.

Most any video on long range shots. I have never served in the military, I have never been a sniper or a long range competition shooter. I am a hunter who wishes to be prepared in case I ever win the draw for a mule deer hunt in a canyon. 200 yards +. Turns out that canyons do not have a lot of trees and you cannot just sneak up on a mule deer. Dang it, I thought I could catch deer and mulies by putting salt on their tails.

Zeducation. A young Air Force vet (he was a medic,) and his showing us of the clown world that we live in.

I think I follow IQ8888 I've been watching videos from oldest to newest on the channels I've mentioned I just haven't gotten to his yet. I completely forgot about Brandon I love his darwin awards videos. I'll totally check out those other channels. I've never heard about VA Meat hunter I'll check him out when I used to do CQ in the army I got addicted to Meat Eater for a while.

Garand Thumb just reminds me the most of military dudes that were in during my time of service humor, shit talking and all. Fucking love it.

I've never looked into Cleckner. I saw his thing on warrior poet society I need to check him out. WPS has ok stuff but it didn't pull me in.

I've never even heard of Tiborasuarus Rex. Does that in any way have association with Trex arms?

Hell ya dude. See I'm the opposite I spent 10 years in the Army, grew up in the sticks of FL with parents that were never home so I never learned how to hunt. Not against it at all, one of my squad leaders was a big hunter and he was like dude one deer will fill your freezer with meat for a while (single guy) compared to how much money you spend on meat at the grocery store. One day I'll get there.

I think it is more accurate to say he was.

He (they) have another channel called Vet Ranch. At one time he was on it quite often, not anymore. They do real good work with animals, worth a watch.

In the "old" youtube days they would show you surgeries, VERY interesting things.....VERY. Now with youtube allowing this and not that, they can't show them there anymore and I don't watch. I still give to their cause once and a while.

As to "gun channels" not many, some listed here are IMHO total worthless internet experts. 8888 has not a clue at to some of the things he talks about, several years ago over on the C&R board it started quite the thread on his thoughts on a MAS36. Others are just trying to be cool and trendy with beards and tribal tatts. No time at all for that.

I watch C&Rsnal, Forgotten weapons, as to the political side Colion Noir and once and a blue moon Liberty Doll....for "other" reasons.....one day one of those things is going to bust loose.

The rest not much unless I am researching something specific.

NTN Fancy- Fuck he really likes to hear himself talk. But, he reviews some interesting and affordable guns. I'll speed watch one of his vids if an interesting guns shows up. Mostly though, his voice is like nails on a chalk board.

Gavin Toob- Paid advertisement. I'll pass.

MAC- He thinks he is way more knowledgeable than he is, and passes a lot of opinion and Fudd lore off as fact.

IV8888- See MAC, with more neck beard.

TFB- Once a pretty good watch. But, I can't stand that Wish.com version of David Hasselfhoff. Maybe he's a great guy, but he comes off as a huge tool.

Armed Scholars- It figures that a lawyer could take a 1 minute point and make a 8 minute video about it, and never say anything of use. And, he's the most click-baity of all the 2A informational channels I have found. And, he does that end of sentence lilt thing that makes everything he says sound like a question.

Colin Noir- I can't put my finger on why. But, his vids feel disingenuous.

This is a bucket entry for all of the 'news aggregator' channels that are the first to post vids, with 2nd and 3rd hand information. These are the channels with clickbait video titles and are obviously filmed in mom's basement.

Ok, some channels that I do like...

Forgotten Weapons- Lots of cool old guns, and some new forgotten guns. Mostly apolitical. Cool to see Ian progress in his comp shooting from when he started to now as well.

C&R Arsenal- See Forgotten weapons with less match shooting. Not sure what qualifies May to give opinions on the suitability of firearms for military service. And, why would I want to see vids of just her shooting guns? Her shooting is what I fast forward through. And, "Lets make room for May" is the signal to switch to a new vid. Other than that, I really like the channel.

InRange- This lost something when Karl and Ian split, but Karl still does some interesting stuff. I like the "Brutality Match" vids. Sinistral Rifleman (HIs actual name escapes me at the moment) is a bit dry and his commentary could use some additional dynamic range. But, his reviews come from comp use, and he's getting it done.

9Hole Reviews- But, it grates on my nerves that Henry uses an improvised rest with bipod equipped rifles- like actually resting the stowed bipod on a slouchy backpack. WTF? He can shoot though. So, the proof is in the pudding.

Polinar Tactical- I'm not sure what the point is of this channel, but it's fun. Maybe that IS the point.

Garand Thumb- This is what a gun change should be. Flexing on the poors with reviews of guns they will never be able to afford. Throwing mad shade on the bro-tac crowd. Fun and not serious. With some dad advise at the end.

Fudd Busters- An actual lawyer, breaking down actual law in a way that non-lawyers can understand. Little if any of the "chicken little antics" that you see in most of the other 2A law channels.

Washington Gun Law- Less click baity than Armed Scholars, but still makes too many vids with too little information. Better than AS, but not living in Washington, some of his stuff just doesn't apply to me. Even so, this is the best of the "the sky is falling" 2A channels.

Armed Attorneys- All of these gun law attorney channels are saying basically the same thing. This one is local to me so maybe is a bit more relevant to me.

Demo Ranch- though he mostly lost me with that hot trash video with Irving and that YeYe douche nozzle.

I'm a member over on his forum $15/month he's been doing these interviews with people from every aspect of the firearms community, the amount of knowledge passed around is amazing. **WARNING** they are long and there is lots of them so if you get hooked you've got several hundred hours ahead of you.

Reno May is worth watching for his knowledge of the laws.

Brandon Herrara purely for entertainment.

I'll give them a go. I made it to 1404 last night. One thing I noticed is how many members have the banned tag throughout time on here. Lol This site is pretty forgiving old school military shit talking you must really fuck up to be banned. I think one name that popped up a lot was a tucker.

Is KY ballistics the one that blew up the 50 on himself? Polenar is the one most people refer me to I need to check that one out. I had to google Liberty Doll I see what you mean. Colion Noir I do follow I completely forgot about him. He kinda has a GarandStyle type of vibe on his older videos. Shooting, reviewing, and shit talking.

Ya in my boredom I watched TFB from the oldest to newest episodes while at work it took me a while. I think it was better a few years ago. C&R Arsenal- See Forgotten weapons with less match shooting. Not sure what qualifies May to give opinions on the suitability of firearms for military service. And, why would I want to see vids of just her shooting guns? Her shooting is what I fast forward through. And, "Lets make room for May" is the signal to switch to a new vid. Other than that, I really like the channel.

InRange- This lost something when Karl and Ian split, but Karl still does some interesting stuff. I like the "Brutality Match" vids. Sinistral Rifleman (HIs actual name escapes me at the moment) is a bit dry and his commentary could use some additional dynamic range. But, his reviews come from comp use, and he's getting it done.

9Hole Reviews- But, it grates on my nerves that Henry uses an improvised rest with bipod equipped rifles- like actually resting the stowed bipod on a slouchy backpack. WTF? He can shoot though. So, the proof is in the pudding.

Polinar Tactical- I'm not sure what the point is of this channel, but it's fun. Maybe that IS the point.

Garand Thumb- This is what a gun change should be. Flexing on the poors with reviews of guns they will never be able to afford. Throwing mad shade on the bro-tac crowd. Fun and not serious. With some dad advise at the end.

Fudd Busters- An actual lawyer, breaking down actual law in a way that non-lawyers can understand. Little if any of the "chicken little antics" that you see in most of the other 2A law channels.

Washington Gun Law- Less click baity than Armed Scholars, but still makes too many vids with too little information. Better than AS, but not living in Washington, some of his stuff just doesn't apply to me. Even so, this is the best of the "the sky is falling" 2A channels.

Armed Attorneys- All of these gun law attorney channels are saying basically the same thing. This one is local to me so maybe is a bit more relevant to me.

Demo Ranch- though he mostly lost me with that hot trash video with Irving and that YeYe douche nozzle.

I can agree on pretty much all those points. Without a doubt.

MAC I feel like started out very humble and really unbiased this is x gun used in x zero, shoot, lets just shoot a frozen pond fuck it, I think in the last few years it has definitely falling into exactly how you put it.
IV8888 I've seen him on others channels but never watched his.
I 100% agree on TFB man like I posted before I started off super good, with little sprinkles of run and gun, talking to badass dudes, Random James talking about another glock. Then it just seems like it's always James, and super long videos. Hi guys this is the glock 43 30 minutes later ok next video Hi this is James Reeves, today we are going to look at the 43x 30 minute video. Like fuck me I love his mail call stuff because of the shit talking but I got to the point his voice annoyed me.

9Holes I actually just stumbled upon in the last week. I can't really hate on him granted I'm a subpar shooter lol. I have noticed the first time I shot my 308 I didn't have my bipod and shot better off my assault bag. I put a harris on I try to do everything I got in some advice videos on here but when I fire it like launched the gun more into the air and off target (subpar shooter like I said lol) But he does rather good. Hell I can't even see out to some of the targets he hits with Irons. Also he cracks me up with some of the Marine shit talking. I never knew how big thier 500 target was .
