Hello, I am new to this site. I have a RPR in 6.5 Creedmoor wearing an Athlon Cronus 4.5-29X56. I shoot steel occasionally and find that my 4-16X glass suits me well. I purchased the Athlon for 600 yard matches. Is this suitable in your opinion?

I'm an occasional F-Class shooter (Sharpshooter class). I use a Leupold 6.5-20 and frequently run it at 16 because of mirage. 29 should be plenty.
Unless you plan to get serious about F-Class what you have is fine just have fun. If you want to be competitive in F-Class its a whole other ball game and you will need to adjust most of your equipment anyway.
Derek Rodgers used a Nightforce NXS 5.5-22 scope to win last years F Class World Championships. So you don't need a high power scope but I do prefer it even though I don't use past 40x much

I'm a casual F-Class shooter, and own no gear that is F-Class specific. However, I will say that the reticle is the most important thing for me. Something that is clear and easy to see with a fine crosshair would be better.
