She's pandering to the ozark people of Missouri, and they aren't exactly voting in primaries. They go on election day (not primary day), vote for any and all republicans, and go back to their 'shine stills and sister wives. I know the percentage of missouri voters that participate in the primaries is low, but i'd be willing to bet that the bulk of those that actually participate, are far closer to the big cities in the state.
