The end of a busy fall season is here. Lots of fishing in August followed by all the guests we get during moose season. Ready for some solitude as ice should start running in the river soon and winter will take over.

Did that one time. Dropped everyone single out out of their seat up on highway 8. Then yelled, “Holy shit!!!! I just missed that bear!!” ?
I did that to a dickhead of a paramedic once.
I was a firefighter and drove the ambulance to the city as they needed 2 to attend the patient. 47 miles each way, easy if no traffic or snow.
He had a paramedic student, so I drove instead of helping in the back.
He then thought I should ride in the back on the way home. I said no and drove with him in the back.
You see, he was getting paid and I gave up a couple hours of my time as part of the glorious life of a jolly volly.
He was bright enough to lip off a fair amount about how he knew so much more than the nurses and they were just stupid, lazy, and couldnt hack life as a medic. I waited till he was standing up and did a swerve/brake move to “miss a deer”.
The student was in front with me and always loved that as he was truly an asshat.
He was fired a year or two later for gross negligence.
Left a short experienced EMT in the back on a 60+ minute transport with an elderly guy from sea level with palpitations and chest pains (pain resolved with oxygen, still terrible judgement).

I know you and your buddies got your regular spots you're gonna go chase Elk at, but I'm just say'n, you can't cougar around from Mile Post 37-38 to around 39 up around the South Palix Road and not kill a Bull. I know for a fact there are at least 7 legal Bulls right there. They're hanging there every damn night. I seen 5 one night and all 7 just about a week ago. They got next to nothing regarding pressure on them during Bow Season.

He is an ortho. I already went to a neuro and they didn’t do anything for me. This is my second trip to get another opinion.
My doctor looked over my mri with me and basically from my c2 to my t2 are messed up. She said she doesn’t see a neck this bad in someone that is 80 years old. I’m only 35.

Nerve pain is awful. Mine is L-4, L-5 down through the sciatic. It creates numbness and pain in my left leg, foot and ass cheek.
I couldn't imagine how bad yours must be since it involves the neck and probably shoulders/arms.

Yeah it’s awful. It’s all down both shoulders and both arms. Can’t work over head for more then 45 seconds to a minute without it feeling like a knife going into my shoulders.
Which make my job tough since I’m a heavy equipment mechanic.
I have had enough and I’m am trying to get it fixed. Might have to hold off until our second daughter is born.

I'm an L4-L5 kinda guy myself and my neck is problematic, but nothing like yours. I can deal with this crap. You on the other hand need to get your issue addressed soonest. Seriously hoping this gets straightened out without being too intrusive.

I had to stop because I ate like a ravenous dog while on it.
Yes I just started taking it at night. It does seem to help with some of the nerve pain.
I don’t notice an increase in appetite but it does make me tired.
Moose, that back nerve pain ain’t not joke! Get it fix and rehab that shit!
That’s the plan hopefully. I’ve already had injections done and went through some physical therapy.

In the meantime, look into ablation of the nerve endings. It's temporary but it really helps some people
If he just want to slice and dice on me I am going to another neurosurgeon and getting a third opinion. I’m not a big fan of surgery, well who is, but I just want to get back to normal.
The problem is I have 4 bone spurs, 3 narrowing disc and one disc with a 7mm hernia. There is more but done have my mri report in front of me.

I'm well beyond what you are dealing with, age wise. I married a woman that had a son from a previous marriage. Right from the start, we made sure we would never even attempt to play the son against the dad, or vis versa. We always took the high road. Sometimes we won, sometimes we lost. If I had it to do over again, would I still take the high road ? Absolutely, without question.
But, there never has been a morning that my wife and I have woken up and we can't look at ourselves in the mirror.
