Maggie’s What's Your View II

Landing runway 18C this morning in Charlotte NC. Traffic out the right side paralleling us is landing 18R. It's a Canadair CRJ700. They are a lot closer than the camera depicts. He's just between the ground and cloud layer.

Damn nice pic, again. Now let's get those wheels on the ground and get back to those 185 Juggernauts........ :p

We don't, but I like where your head's at :) !

Hope to have time tomorrow morning to work more with the Jugg's. We're headed for home as I type this.

Right on buddy. Stay safe and have a great day. I'm thinking I'm gonna have to pick me up a couple Juggs and give'm a whirl. Giving serious consideration of setting one of my rifles up to shoot lefty for the time being. Getting ready to pull the last 11 hairs outta my head.

We have had a mating pair of Canada Geese stay with us every winter we've been here (4). "Fred & Ethel" always mate here, but when it comes time to nest they leave us and don't return until the following Fall.
So I did a little research and put together nesting "island" out of an old pallet, some foam insulation scraps, the bottom of a plastic barrel, some conduit straps, and a couple of tree stakes.
Finally got a chance to finish it up this weekend and get in place.
Put some cedars on the side to help make it look more natural and guard against avian predators, and some straw in the nest to make it appear move in ready.
Hoping they'll see fit to raise a brood here with us, but only time will tell. They typically begin nesting in mid April.

You guys are doing this thread well. Very nice shots men. I'll hopefully have something worthy soon. In the meantime, I"ll live vicariously thru you............

Oh I know.
My knees have eaten too many rocks and knelt on too many hard floors and highways (you know, "outta the car, hands on your head, down on your knees"...) that I either wear pads or have a pad just like that, just swingin a hammer at nuts boys.

Someday I will fix my imgur account and post a few sunrise shots. A favorite time of day for me and we get some awesome ones here.

Tnichols
My dad has that same pad for kneeling on. Is that an Iowa thing or an old guy thing?

couldnt resist.

Wife uses it. Her left knee is still a bit wonky after her Jeep wreck. She always offers it to me, but I'm stubborn and always in a hurry, so I don't. I should though as I'm becoming an ol' duffer now at 53 :).

There is stuff to eat out here If you know where to look but you can't be picky and need a strong stomach! Water is harder.

The tires on the ATV are military grade. They came with it. Interestingly the tires have embossed on them "0 PSI" No issues with flats and that's really nice.

yes! I'm on imagur!
